Sometimes it’s hard to see God working in the middle of your story. You want to trust His heart but you can’t seem to trace His hand.
Here’s a reminder that He’s not done. What may seem like God’s inactivity is never His inability. He is able.

WE MUST WORSHIP ONLY ONE GOD

As Christians, monotheism is sacrosanct and the only God we know is the Son, the Father and the Holy spirit. The three are one, making me to use the three as singular instead of plural. This is what some theologians refer to as trinity.

The Son is our Lord Jesus Christ while God almighty is the Father. The Holy Spirit is an essential ingredient of the Son and the Father.

As Christians, we follow the footstep of our Lord Jesus Christ and go through Him as the only way to reach God (John14: 6). Our living like Jesus Christ is adequate to win the favour of His Father on our side and whatever thing that we ask in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, it shall be granted to us according to His will. The Holy Spirit dwells and directs the affairs of a believer to confront the only enemy called Satan and conquer him intoto.

Many Christians are suffering despite the abundance grace of God at their disposal because they worship other gods. When they are tempted, they lose faith and run to spiritualists in form of Islamic mallams, fetish priests/herbalists and some occultists or charllattans who disguise themselves and pretend that they are worshipping the true God.

One of the ten commandments given to Israelites is that they should not worship any other gods other than the almighty God (Exod. 20: 3). The violation of this commandment constitutes idolatry and God hates it.

Anything that you love more than God, is your idol. This is why as a Christian, you do not have to be an addict in anything----- whether a particular food, sex, music, dance, regalia, organisms including plants, animals and humanbeings or costume. Humanbeings are animals but for easy understanding, I have to segregate them from wild and domestic animals. We have to love all His creatures but not to the extent of loving them more than the creator.

As Christians, we have to worship only one God both in body and spirit (Exod. 34: 14). This is the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit which is One. When we are tempted, let us have faith in this three as we wear the belt of righteousness and we will be taken care of.
May the almighty God through our Lord Jesus Christ, open our hearts to comprehend and put all these into practice so that we can enjoy the dividends of Christianity. Amen.

WEAR THE BELT OF TRUTH

When you gird your waist with a belt as a soldier, it depicts your readiness to fight as a soldier (Ephesians 6: 14). Jesus Christ is the belt for all Christians. Our Lord Jesus Christ is the truth and the only way to God (John 14:6). When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, you sanctify yourself with truth because His words stand for truth (John17:17).

Jesus Christ as our Master and Teacher, is the truth and as the word made flesh, Jesus Christ becomes for us the perfect ideal worthy of our emulation. Truth is our ability not to be deceitful, hypocritical or inconsistent with our statements. Simply, not saying things exactly how they are or happened.

Truth is an embodiment of honesty and sincerity in all situations. It enables a Christian to dwell in our Lord Jesus Christ and fully girded to fight the devil who is a liar. A liar is a child of the devil and does not have a place in the kingdom of God.

Some of you may try to defend your sinful nature of been liars by saying that Abraham was also a liar when he told the Egyptians that Sarah; his wife was his sister. In reality, Abraham did not tell lie because Sarah was his half sister from thesame father although not from thesame mother (Genesis 20: 2 & 12). Therefore, brethren, embrace truth irrespective of how bitter it may be because the reward is enormous. It takes you away from the devil and brings you nearer to Jesus Christ, girded to fight and conquer the devil that is disturbing your life. May God bless you all. Amen.

*God is not Punishing You*

“_His disciples asked him, “Teacher, whose sin caused this guy’s blindness, his own, or the sin of his parents?” Jesus answered, “Neither. It happened to him so that you could watch him experience God’s miracle_.”

Today I’ll speak about something that has been on my heart for some number of weeks and it involves prayers usually raised in churches to exhort people before the teaching session starts.😌

You would usually hear the person lead say, “Let’s thank God we are not in the grave but others are in the grave or we didn’t fall sick but others are sick. God has been faithful to you.”

In as much as it’s to exhort the brethren, comparative theology to serve God is not biblical. God’s goodness is not premised on death life, sickness, and health. It is premised on who he is.😊

Life is in such a way that spiritual people get falsely accused, (Look at the story of Joseph) their children even sometimes die! They didn’t do anything wrong neither was God punishing them. It was just the vicissitudes of life and that’s why God says be of great cheer I have overcome the world!

Someone just buried her mum and is in church for Thanksgiving but hears you say this and thinks God is so unfaithful to her! Absolutely not! In case you missed it, Jesus didn’t die a beautiful death😌but it didn’t mean he had sinned or something. These things don’t and can never show the faithfulness of God. Have you heard? God didn’t create the blueprint of someone’s life with you. What makes you think that’s not how it has to end?

-You'll see little dosages of God's power and miracles in your life and ministry. You won't see much happen in your life and ministry.

-Evangelism becomes weak and powerless and ineffective.

-You feed and grow the power of the flesh.

-Sin will no longer make you feel uncomfortable because you're completely out of touch with God.

-Spiritual service or activities will soon become difficult, stressful, boring, a burden and a waste of time.

-Unforgiveness, bitterness, hatred, malice, division, gossip, being critical and judgmental towards other believers grows and increases.

-You'll be far behind God's timing for your life and prophetic calendar. Prayer updates your spirit on what heaven is doing at any time.

-The name of Jesus will be powerless on your lips and demons will not respect your authority. I can tell you with all authority and confidence that demons don't fear or respect prayerless believers, because they know they're powerless no matter what they confess about God's power in them.

-You'll be crushed by the enemy and sifted as wheat.

-You will give more strength and ability to your will over God's will. Soon your will will have a stronger voice in every decision in your life.

-You'll become indisciplined and careless not only in your spiritual life but also in every area of your life.

-You'll become rebellious and fall into idolatry (love for anything apart from God).

-You'll not be built up on your most holy faith.

-You'll not be edified and charged in God's power and ability.

-Your desires will be full of self and you'll be filled with selfish ambitions having none of God's interests at heart.

WHAT THEN SHALL WE SAY TO ALL THESE THINGS? IF THE BELIEVER WILL BUILD A CONSISTENT DISCIPLINED LIFE OF PRAYER, WHAT OR WHO CAN BE AGAINST HIM?

Fight prayerlessness like you'll fight a man that wants to hold your breathe; because that is what it does to your spiritual life- it chokes it to death.

Fight Prayerlessness like you'll fight a man that wants to snatch your wife from you. You'll understand this if you have ever fallen in love before.

Treat prayerlessness like a being and a personality and attack it with all the spiritual armories you got. Pray when you feel like and pray when you don't feel like- that is what we call discipline and striving for mastery..

Anything that helps you in accomplishing a life of prayerlessness (be it TV, season movies, phones, social media, marriage, children, relationship etc) will be the same thing that will ruin your intimacy with God and your purpose here on earth.

Your new rule:
Never begin your day without praying, never live your day without praying and never end your day without praying.

WHAT HAPPENS TO BELIEVERS WHO DON'T PRAY.

If a man fails in anything, it is first because he failed in the place of prayer. Prayer is the life force of the believer's walk and service. It is the most important part of his spirituality and his greatest duty both to God and to man. Which we are on countless occasions warned to continue in prayer.

Luke 18:1 KJVS
[1] And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that MEN OUGHT ALWAYS to pray, and not to faint;

Romans 12:12 KJVS
[12] Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; CONTINUING INSTANT in prayer;

Colossians 4:2 KJVS
[2] CONTINUE in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;

Ephesians 6:18 KJVS
[18] Praying ALWAYS with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Without building a consistent prayer life:

-God's presence would seem far away and unreal and you'll soon begin to doubt that God is with you.

-You put God out of business in your life and that of others.

-You deliberately and willingly exempt yourself from what God is doing.

-You soon become spiritually dry, cold and lukewarm.

-Your love for God grows cold.

-Your love for other believers grows cold.

-Your love for the world of perishing souls grows cold. Unbelievers dying and going to hell doesn't become a bother to you anymore.

-You have a greater chance of being worldly.

-You fail in your function as a priest in offering incense and daily sacrifices unto God.

-Temptations increase and soon overwhelm you. With time, you'll give in.

-Lustful thoughts and desires increases and intensifies.

-God's will for your life becomes blurred, shrouded and clouded. You'll either walk in confusion or uncertainty in what God has called you to do.

-You easily fall into anxiety, depression and frustration.

-You easily become weary and faint hearted. Prayer makes the heart strong and fit.

-Sin easily becomes attractive and appealing.

-Attacks of the devil increases because you give him great advantage.

-Walking in the flesh becomes clearly unavoidable.

-Your strength diminishes, decreases and declines.

-Demons get a greater platform and loose openings to afflict you.

-You tell God in His face that you don't need Him which makes you independent and self sufficient - that makes prayerlessness a sin of pride and we all know that pride goes before a fall. Therefore we can conclude that a man falls when he fails his duty on his knees (prayer)- his display of humility and God dependency.

-Your love for the world grows and increases (worldliness).

-You loose contact with heaven, the headquarters of every Christian soldier.

-Trials will seem unending and you'll lack what it takes to be victorious over them.

-You'll take foolish, unwise and undiscerning decisions.

-Your faith-life will die, which means all exploits God intends for you to wrought will be forfeited.

-The truth of God's word will not be fruitful in your life.

-Many things will delay in your life especially God's promises and personal prophecies.

-Ungodliness will rise in your life and conduct.

-You'll loose your convictions, confidence, sensitivity and discernment.

-You'll gradually be backsliding without knowing.

"Is there anyone here who, planning to build a new house, doesn't first sit down and figure the cost so you'll know if you can complete it? (MSB)

Worrying about the future is wrong, but sitting down to plan about our future is brilliant and is commended by Jesus Christ, our saviour. Figuring the cost and other modalities involved in bringing about our visions will help us in our achievements .More importantly, we must remember that the Holy Spirit is always there to direct and help us, and so we have to involve Him in all of our plannings. Let's start now with our projections for 2025 and discipline ourselves to doing them, and surely the Lord will help us to succeed.

Staying Patient While Waiting on God
Waiting on God can be hard, especially when we feel ready for answers or change. But trusting His timing is an act of faith. God’s plans often unfold differently than we expect, but they’re always shaped with our best in mind. When we’re tempted to rush or try to control things ourselves, we can remember that patience isn’t passive—it’s actively relying on God’s wisdom, knowing He’s working even when we can’t see it. So, while we wait, let’s keep praying, stay hopeful, and believe that God’s timing is perfect, bringing everything together in the way that’s ultimately best for us.

“Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him.”

It isn't always easy to apply what this verse says, in fact, most times I find it difficult...very difficult.

Ask yourself these questions honestly. Do you love your enemies? Do you do good to those who hate you? Do you bless those who curse you? Do you pray for those who mistreat you?

We always say that we want to be more like Jesus. This is a way to be more like Him. Ask God to reveal what is in your heart that is keeping you from living this principle out. Ask Him to help you apply these verses in your daily life.
