PSU RALLY: PM’S ENDORSEMENT
Prime minister has put his personal brand behind PSUs
There is still a lot of disbelief in the PSU rally
Excluding Rail & defence, PSUs still very undervalued
LIC trades at half of valuation of it’s peers
SBI has no logic to trade at one third valuation of ICICI Bk
Lot of money is being made right now by just holding PSUs
Budget’s message was clear: No room for populism
MARKET: CUES FROM HERE
Today’s trade has to be divided into pre and post policy
Policy impact will last for 1 hour unless something big comes
Market is going in with expectation of a pause
RBI Governor’s commentary will be most important
Recent budget, move in crude prices supportive of dovish stance
Higher chances of a rally than a decline after policy
Once policy is out of the way, market will have a clean run
From here till first vote is cast, Nifty can rally to 23,456

For positional longs, stop remains 21,805 on closing basis
