Buy on dips if yesterday lows hold for Index. Entry levels should be around 23050 in Nifty futures and 49300 in BankNifty.

Markets are heavily oversold and some relief is due. If it comes, then should give a 3% approx trending move on the upside.

As per rule of 68, it was the 9th day and we had some short covering in many leading stocks.

As per derivative data, there is lot of long buildups in stock futures and some covering in index futures. So buy on dips.

Good morning

The correction should continue. People who attended the session last nite know that sometimes this week we should see a sharp reversal or a decent pullback.

As per levels 22500 is the most important support on the Nifty with weekly resistance at 23250. So it's clear sell on rise as per data. What's interesting is the fact that BankNifty can loose another 1200 points or so this week. Hence sell only below 22750 for 200 odd points.

Good morning

The momentum is strong on the downside. It's not good to try and identify good news and search for long trades. My idea is simple, I will now wait on the sidelines atleast till tomm as long as Nifty trades in the range of 23350 and 22800. Break on either side should give us a trade. Till then patience is important.

Not sharing levels for the day as it is weekly expiry. The rule in expiries is that the trend gets more momentum on the day. Currently it's in control of bears and let's see whether 22786 breaks.

We had a sharp fall in the stocks and Index. Now we are very close to the bottom area around 22800. If it breaks, then we are looking at much lower levels of 22300(I expect it to break). This is clearly relentless selling and now people should understand that "Teesri mahashakti means nothing". If this does not stop, then we will eventually see sharp widrawals from MF and close of SIPs. So be a trader or stay away for the time being.

Today is the last day of the year. It was a good year for traders and investors but the last 3 months have been cruel to investors. Personally for me, May and December were negative, August was mildly positive but rest of the months were around annual average. So it was a good year for me. Plan to do the same next year. 66% annual returns is nice for me though it was 87% last year.

Will come up with a detailed video on what I plan for the next year and also detailed market analysis on the coming weekend.

Expect a volatile week. Why? Markets had a melt down last week but some reversal attempts can be seen today. What happens is that when the trend and momentum is so strong, 1st attemp is sold into. So, I will wait for the 2nd attempt to be a buyer. As said on Friday, lot of shorts were carried into January hence the start of new year can be weak.

#derivative. Data is weak and any attempt to buy will be met with lot of resistance.

Surprised to see flat open on Gift Nifty. Previous lows of 23350 is very important today. It should be held for a decent carry move or another attempt by markets to go higher.

The important point is that the fall on Tuesday and the fall on early morning (Gift Nifty) happened outside market reasons. So the fall did not happen due to market reasons and hence I feel, there can be another attempt on the upside.

Some respite in the markets today. Maybe but not waiting for it. If you all have noticed, we are doing small option trades in the last 3 weeks or so and nothing positional. I think, the same will continue for few more days before a decisive break happens.

As per wave analysis, we are in end of wave A of 4. Soon the bounce of B should start in 3 wave setup. So, won't be shorting today in anticipation of wave B.

Election results in US have started coming. Morning half should be subdued but the real move should happen in the 2nd half. The volatility will be high and hence staying away for the day is the best choice. Of all the trades I have given in delivery, I hold the following

Good Morning

Correction is fine but 500 points in in the 1st hour was a bit too much. It does show the uncertainty in the markets at higher levels. Things are not at all good for swing traders and delivery traders. There are 3 level prices for any stock-
1. A price/economy to buy
2. A price/economy to hold
3. A price/economy to sell.

We are in the 3rd phase. Why?
Midcaps and small caps have no intrinsic value. It only has a relative value based on economic out look and performance of largecaps. Infact most smalls are either vendors or suppliers of larger companies. Hence, any stop/drop in quality of performance in global markets/ largecaps will result in a sharp sell off in midcaps and small caps. That's the reason straight talkers(me) call them "PARASITES". Beware !! Clear sell on rise.

#Nifty. Support is placed at 23800/700 and resistance at 24150.

#BankNifty. Support is placed at 50800 and resistance at 51700.

Range to volatile day. Repeating again

October was a tough month for the Bulls with record selling and some cheap statisticians on different media channels having a field day with numbers. Yes, the market fell but does it always have to go up, everyday? No it does not and participants should accept this behavior.

The definition of perfection lies in the comparison with being better than the last. It does not mean - best as there is no such thing. So, get your act together and accept more than decent margins in beating the market.

#Nifty. I do not expect much returns coming in this year. In fact if Nifty opens at the same level next year, I would take it with both hands as I know that my returns would be more than 30%. That's called beating with margins and that what should be expected of us.
Support is placed at 24100 and resistance at 24350.

#BankNifty. Support is placed at 51100 and resistance at 51800.

I have said it multiple times, traders or investor, you need to be flexible in how you approach markets. Look at how it's behaving and then try to follow it or stay away.

Currently it's a traders market, not for swings and investment. So simply trade. Remember your objective - consistent profits. We have 14 trades in the last 2 weeks and 12 worked. Calculate the kind of money you would have made only by being flexible in approach. Try to earn something every week, this will cover the losses or potential gains in delivery trades.

As I always say, there is no difference between traders and investor. Both are after opportunities to make money with concepts like risk reward, asset allocation, patience, discipline etc remains the same. Hence there is no concept of time. If a trade can be completed in 1 hr and can give say 4000. Why would you refuse ????

This is a beautiful trading market and hence follow the trades and make money.

Being stubborn or the inability to book losses will ensure you loose. So learn.

Note - markets will continue like this for some time.
