Hi Team,
Please note, 2024 is completion.. we are in the final 15days.

Generally in IT, the entire work slows down.
The US, european clients mostly go for 1-2 weeks vacation, and the coding also freezes. And even in India a lot of members take some break, to ease out.

And then from Jan, again every thing resumes strongly.

*If you are already putting great efforts to get job, then I would suggest take some break for 1-2weeks.. rest, have vacation, have fun.. and then in Jan resume back full force.*

*Balance yourself between fun & strong commitment for accomplishing your dreams.*

Hi Team,
*Recently one of the group member got job & shared below tips for you* .
----------------------------------

Really I have so many Ups and down, In 2023 college campus i have been placed in Capegimni but offer letter got revoked since I have no option then I am going for interviews but some bonds and deposits they are asking ….
And today i have offer from Xxxx
1 st round is online assessment 45 ques aptitude and reasoning..
2 nd round is technical round
They asked about project springboot basic questions with annotation and deep discussion APIs and micorservice And they asked to explain principles nearly 25 min include some SQL basic questions then he asked one coding basic arraylist…
3 rd managerial plus Hr basic questions commonly and it took 24 hours to complete all the process of selection and they issued offer today

Last conclusion if they asked explain about project explain all the working areas and highlights the key word such as microservice approach then APIs and AWS etc…you have to nevigate them properly

The project plays a big role in selection to IT companies…

I truly appreciate all the advice and encouragement you provided along the way. Thank you once again

==============
Here are the tips I followed:
1. Having a thorough understanding of the final year project, including how the work was distributed among team members and the project's workflow, creates a strong initial impression. This approach is also valuable when answering the question what you have done at your internships.
2. Always include only the tech stack you are confident with on your resume, as interviewers often base their questions on it.
3. Target fresher recruitment programs by major MNCs, as these programs significantly increase the likelihood of your resume being shortlisted.
4. Most importantly, speak confidently, avoid stuttering, and present yourself professionally.

*One member, who got job recently shared below tips for you:*
=====================
I wrote a lot so please consider this, My main focus was on technical skills and programming languages during the interview process, which had four rounds: a written test, a technical round, an HR round, and a final round with the company CEO. I concentrated on coding, and they asked questions about algorithms like Binary Search and Sorting. In the technical round, they asked about my internship project and its architecture, and I explained both the functional and technical aspects. There were many questions on frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA (association mapping), microservices, and SQL (indexing, joins, and queries on an employee table). I used technologies like Core Java, Spring Boot, microservices, MySQL, AWS, Docker, and GitHub.

My focus was on technical skills, and I gained a lot of knowledge. I'm excited about this opportunity, and I believe that once we have the knowledge and skills, everything goes smoothly. I would suggest that everyone focus on improving their skills and stay updated. Prepare for common interview questions, stay curious, and keep learning. This internship helped me a lot, and I learned a great deal. Thank you for your support and guidance.

============
Sir i would like to say that
this Internship has helped me a lot to get this offer
Got some clarity how the industry works.. also the knowledge in springboot made me confident .
What i mainly learned is that consistency and determination is the things that help you get what you want..
My offered job is on golang
But they assessed me on the knowledge of java,logic and skills i mentioned in the resume.

Once i was getting zero interview calls.but i changed my resume template about 4 times i think.. made changes.. then slowly i got interview calls
My main challenge was clearing the aptitude.. i failed many times in aptitude.but worked on it . Added more effort and focus..
It was tough .. the situation was very tough.. but when i put my effort completely everything gone well ...
Thank you

*One member of previous internship got job, shared below tips for you:*
========================
Before giving the interview at tech Mahindra I got rejected in 2-3 interviews , But the thing is that I have taken that failure as the learning opportunity I have maintained the records of the each interview that I have gave , I written down my mistakes in that interviews worked on it and yes this technique helps me to find out my flaws.
I worked on my weak areas, and with the time I improved and got the result.
Another tip is like build the connections and do the daily preparation and job seeking.
Don't get demotivated because every one faces demotivation, rejection, but remember only those have won who stood up and kept moving.
Thank you sir for your valuable Guidance 🙏

*Below are demo observation by some of our group members*.

Percy Mittagadapala
During the overall recording I hesitated when I faced few errors but then I tried to solve it using Chatgpt . Thank you for giving this opportunity.

Parth Wanyalkar
My mic quality was as low as my confidence level while recording initially ive done several silly mistakes while demonstrating but eventually fixed them all by watching video again and finding exceptions and syntax errors, Overall it was a good experience but i got to know that i need more and more practice for coding.

Shaik Subhani
I am a little bit scared while starting because this is my first demo that's why after completing it I realise I need to improve my communication skills while explaining the concept and thank you sir for giving me this opportunity to know about myself.

Rahul kumar
Overalldemo was good but i am bad in communication that level down my confidence.

Khan fatima
Excellent

Yogesh Iswalkar
Recording a demo increases my confidence and gives me satisfaction about the topics which are covered in the live session. The concepts get more clear to understand.

Renuka Naga Sri Bhavani Katakam
Thanks for giving me opportunity to give demos. Starting it took time to get into pace and some times got fumbled but helped to improve.

Aneesha Arigi
I made a few mistakes due to nervous, which made me realize just how important demos are. I understand the concepts well, but when I’m explaining it I can't explain it properly because of nervousness.

Nive Deepika M
My communication is not good.I face fear.I feel in upcoming days I will try to be confident.Overall it's ok for me.
srilakshmi neerukonda i need to practice more about the content what am explaining And looks like taking more pauses.

Hi Team,

*Tasks for today: 8Nov*
1. Explore Spring Boot Auto Configuration using Google Gson.
2. Explain how @SpringBootApplication works.
3. Understand the resources concept of RestAPI. & Code RestController for performing all CRUD operations & /repeat operations on /payments

--------------------------------
1. Explore Spring Boot Auto Configuration using Google Gson.

* Using Gson to convert java obj to json spring
* Look for Gson dependency & add to pom.xml
* In service create object of Gson using "new" operator & call gson.toJson(addReq)
* Instead of new operator, do dependency injection of Gson.
* Notice that Gson object was already available in Spring Container, & you get access to reference. This is Spring AutoConfiguration
* If you use @Bean to create Gson object, then Spring Boot will not automatically provide.
* Explore the concept & prepare well for interview
====================

2. Explain how @SpringBootApplication works

* Starts with SpringApplication.run(MyFirstAppProjApplication.class, args);
* Is combination of @Configuration, @EnableAutoConfiguration, @ComponentScan

* It creates Spring Beans
* for all our custom beans @Component
* For all predefined classes setup using @Bean
* For all AutoCOnfigured beans based on those available in classparth
* Does Dependency injection

=============================

3. Understand the resources concept of RestAPI. & Code RestController for performing all CRUD operations & /repeat operations on /payments

* You have to use Http Verb (POST, GET, etc) + URI, to accordingly write business logic at backend.

* Eg for Create Payment, endpoint should eb POST /v1/payments, and json body should represent request. Id should be returned back
* For getting payment, endpoint should be GET /v1/payments/{id}
* like vise for update PUT or PATCH with /v1/payments/{id}, and json request body should have the date that needs to be modified.
-

For any project, you need to first find for resources. And then your logic should be build around resources.

Use the below link to build RestController
https://chatgpt.com/share/672db10b-862c-8013-bec0-a8fcb666a7e2

Work with these annotations:
@RestController
@RequestMapping("/v1/payments")
@PostMapping, @GetMapping("/{id}"), @PutMapping("/{id}"), etc
@PathVariable
@RequestBody

Also self explore @RequestParam, @Controller @ResponseBody

05 Nov, 10:59

Hi Team,
We have multiple tasks today. Each of task, is having much work to be done. Please note tomorrow we will not take heavy coding, so you would get time to finish & practice on all of this. But give your best shot today.

*5 Tasks for today - 5Nov* :
1. Experiment below with your 1st Spring Boot App
2. Create & Test RestAPI to add 2 numbers. User ChatGPT / Google. Also test with Postman & CURL
3. Add devtools, Sonar, SLF4j Loggers in project
4. Execute your Spring Boot application, as if you would run on AWS infra. Either setup in AWS or test directly in local
5. In MobaXterm experiment with basic Linux commands

================
1. Experiment below with your 1st Spring Boot App

* When calling from browser, check inspect & "Empty Cache & Hard Reload option"

* Create another Spring Boot application directly from IDE
Use "Spring Starter Project"

* Setup JDK17 in your JRE settings
windows => preferences => Installed JRE & Complier 17
Verify when you do clean package, Java17 is used.

* Access endpoint using 127.0.0.1 or 127.0.0.2, etc - For localhost, you can use this IP.
http://127.0.0.1:8080/

* Change Default Port to 8081. Use Internet for setting.

==========================

2. Create & Test RestAPI to add 2 numbers. User ChatGPT / Google. Also test with Postman & CURL.

* Explore net, and take reference of the code which you get, and add RestController.
* Check how @GetMapping is linked when you make request from browser url.
* Change server method to @PostMapping, and check how browser req fails.
* Install Postman
* Setup the RestAPI in postman for testing. Use Internet to address your queries while testing.

* Check POST call using CURL.

============================

3. Add devtools, Sonar, SLF4j Loggers in project

* Devtools: When you save, spring boot should automatically restart.
Explore devtool maven dependency, add to pom.xml
clean package
clean spring-boot:run
Change code, and check, system is reloading

* Sonar: Static code analyser.
You need to explicity add sonar configuration in your IDE.. for getting suggestions for best practices of coding..
Help => Eclipse MarketPlace => sonarlint
windows => show view => sonarlint - on-the-fly

* Use Spring boot default logger, SLF4j with Logback
As we know System.out.println, should not be used. Instead we need to use logger.
private static final Logger logger = LoggerFactory.getLogger(CalculatorController.class);
logger.info("Calculated sum: {}", sum);

Use can explore this on internet.

==================================

4. Execute your Spring Boot application, as if you would run on AWS infra. Either setup in AWS or test directly in local

Download MobaXterm
https://drive.google.com/file/d/10iF2U0wjA-pAOflkAWjpHIgBr_ksRQmp/view?usp=drive_link

When testing in AWS:
1. Create AWS account
2. Create EC2 machine
3. Install Java 17

Steps to setup EC2 & Java 17 in AWS in mentioned below:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ZAvR7q3czbxckynS5LRkPkpkEtArJfxm1CAJItDYiTA/edit?usp=drive_link

4. Copy code from your local machine to AWS EC2
clean package
scp jar to AWS.

5. Start your service in AWS
java -jar file.jar
Start as backgroup process
nohup java -jar -Xms100M -Xmx150M my-first-app-proj-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar > myservice.log &
tail -f myservice.log

6. Add Security group configuration to allow 8081 to be accessed.

7. Add server public Ip in below url
http://YOUR_SERVER_PUBLIC_IP:8081/add?num1=5&num2=40

---------------

You can test in local.
* Just create a local folder, which you treat as a deployment folder.
* your local jar should be build as "clean package"
* use "cp" command instead of "scp" to copy jar to destination folder
* Start application using
nohup java -jar -Xms100M -Xmx150M my-first-app-proj-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar > myservice.log &
tail -f myservice.log
* Test via brower.
http://localhost:8081/add?num1=5&num2=40
