Chart reflect the importance of neckline break when a pattern is seen.

First one H&S neckline broke on the downside and it worked.

Second (red) inverse H&S but neckline never broke on the upside.

Third (blue) inverse H&S but neckline still not broken for a reversal.

Waiting and following the trend is a good idea when in doubt.
