As we can see #smallcap index is showing trend reversal signs with a series of lower highs and lower lows.

Yesterdayโs rate cut decision by the FED. Quite volatile markets yesterday and today!

Volatility dropped after election results. With no impact on the indian markets.
Since the results came as expectations, there came no reaction in the markets - which shows the forward discounting ability of the markets. (As markets already corrected heavily in past few days)
Had it been the opposite results, we could have witnessed a big fall.
Next event in line - FOMC Meeting
Probably should not have a big impact, unless there are some huge macro changes made in the meeting.
