Mr. Manoj Jain Appointed Chief Managing Director of Bharat Electronics Limited

In a significant leadership change, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has appointed Mr. Manoj Jain as its new Chief Managing Director.

Mr. Jain is an alumnus of the Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur, where he graduated in 1991 with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering. His academic journey was marked by excellence, earning him the prestigious gold medal for his outstanding performance.

BEL, a leading public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, specializes in advanced electronics products for the armed forces. Mr. Jain’s appointment is expected to further bolster the company’s growth and innovation in the defense electronics sector.

His tenure at BEL is anticipated to usher in new strategies and innovations, reinforcing BEL's commitment to enhancing its capabilities and expanding its footprint both domestically and internationally.

Dharmendra Pradhan to continue as Education Minister of India.

According to police, the student died after falling from the second floor of the building while climbing the staircase. He lost balance as the railings were small.

He was immediately taken to the local medical college for treatment where he was declared brought dead.
