The National Youth Wing of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has called for the prosecution of the 50 remanded Ghanaian citizens who joined the #ReOccupyJulorbiHouse #StopGalamseyNow protest in a statement dated 26th September 2024.

They described them & their rights to peacefully demonstrate  as "miscreants and hooligans," and emphasized that law and order are essential to maintaining peace and security in the nation.
