1. Update Your System
First, update your system to ensure all packages are up to date:
sudo apt-get update
2. Install Required Libraries
Install the
libgomp1 library which is required for GaiaNet:
sudo apt-get install libgomp1
3. Download and Run the Installation Script
Download and execute the latest GaiaNet Node installation script:
curl -sSfL 'https://github.com/GaiaNet-AI/gaianet-node/releases/latest/download/install.sh' | bash
4. Source Your Bash Configuration
Update your shell environment to include GaiaNet commands
Make sure to copy the source command for your own terminal; itโs different for everyone. Donโt copy from here. You will see something like this,
but not thissource ~/.bashrc
5. Initialize GaiaNet with Configuration
Initialize GaiaNet using the provided configuration file:
gaianet init --config https://raw.githubusercontent.com/GaiaNet-AI/node-configs/main/qwen2-0.5b-instruct/config.json
6. Start GaiaNet
Finally, start the GaiaNet Node:
gaianet start
Dont forget to save your Node-ID and Device-ID from your own terminal.
done saved? now time to set your node on https://www.gaianet.ai/setting/nodes ( use your node wallet/new wallet )
- Click on Connect New Node tabs
- Put your node id and device id at the column
- Then Join
