T for Tata and T for Trust.

Tata's are not Businessmen, they are #Nation_Builders.
We Indians have blind faith in Tata's products, because we know Tata's guarantee is there.

The best example of the above is of Tata Nano.In 2008,Tata launched "People's Car" i.e. Nano, after so many challenges in West Bengal. When Nano had some technical errors that time, Tata extended the guarantee to the sold cars, so that customers should not suffer.

Along with that, there are so many bright Indian students who completed their higher education because of the #scholarship given by the Tata_group.

#Ratan_Tata ji continued the tradition of Nation building, trust and ethical practices in business which was started by #Jamshedji_Tata.

#RIP Ratan Tata ji๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’.

The Union government recognised 5 more languages as Classical languages are Marathi, Bengali, Pali, Prakrit and Assamese.

Now the number of classical Indian languages has now reached 11 as Tamil, Sanskrit, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Oriya had already got the tag.

One of his thoughts, which I'm sharing with you, is still relevant in today's post truth era.

Do we really know Bhagat Singh?

Today (28th September) is the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and most of us are keeping DP on social media platforms.

He said, "You can kill a person but you can't kill his ideas".But unfortunately today's youth are mostly attracted towards photos of Bhagat Singh and not his thoughts. That's why one question came to my mind: Do we really know him?

Bhagat Singh didn't want people to remember him with religious identity, that's why before he threw Bomb in Central Legislative Assembly, he clicked an iconic photo in a studio, which presented him as a Revolutionary Hero.

Today I want to share his views on Communalism and Untouchability, which he presented in 1928 in the journal "Kirti".He wrote two articles, namely-

1)" เคธเคพเค‚เคชเฅเคฐเคฆเคพเคฏเคฟเค• เคฆเค‚เค—เฅ‡ เค”เคฐ เค‰เคจเค•เคพ เค‡เคฒเคพเคœ (Communal riots and their Solutions) - He mentioned that,

โ€œThe material questions of the belly are at the bottom of everything".

To stop mutual riots, class consciousness is needed.

The poor, toilers and peasants need to recognize the capitalist as their real enemy.

Itโ€™s in their interest to get rid of discrimination on the grounds of religion, colour, race, nationality and nation, and unite to take power in their own hands.
This will free them of their shackles and give them economic freedom...

In the same article he criticized "Communal politicians and Press" for their direct or indirect role in riots.

He mentioned- "The business of journalism, once considered noble, has become most dirtyโ€ฆ the real duty of the newspapers is to educate, to cleanse the minds of people, to save them from narrow sectarian divisiveness, and to eradicate communal feelings to promote the idea of common nationalism.
Instead, their main objective seems to be spreading ignorance, preaching and propagating sectarianism and
chauvinism, communalising peopleโ€™s minds leading to the destruction of our composite culture and shared heritage."

After reading the above thoughts, one can relate these with today's conditions of Journalism in India.

2) เค…เค›เฅ‚เคคเฅ‹เค‚ เค•เคพ เคธเคตเคพเคฒ (Question of Untouchables) - Bhagat Singh frontally attacked untouchability.

On the hue and cry against conversions, this is what he had to say:
โ€œโ€ฆthe harsh truth (is) that if you (the Hindus) treat them worse than your cattle, they shall desert you, join to the fold of other religions where they hope to enjoy more rights, where they are treated as fellow beings.โ€

He did not speak merely of reform or of โ€˜upliftโ€™ of the untouchables. Rather he called upon Dalits to emancipate themselves โ€“ calling them the โ€œreal working classโ€.

He said to untouchables that 'Gradualism and reformism shall be of no avail to you. Start a revolution from a social agitation and gird up your loins for the political economic revolution.'

Bhagat Singh was different from revolutionary heroes, he provided a strong ideological base for the revolutionary movement in India and had a dream to make India- Secular, Democratic & Republic state.

Analysis of UPSC CSE (Mains) GS 1 2024.

โ—ฆ From last 3-4 years UPSC is asking more questions from Art and Culture portion and also from Ancient India than Modern India. I have discussed this strategy with my students in class that this year also UPSC will follow the same pattern and UPSC followed it.
โ—ฆ This year few questions were straightforward and few were based on interpretation of historical knowledge and information which we discussed in our history lectures .
โ—ฆ Todayโ€™s GS Paper 1 is having total 6 questions from History, out of 6 questions 3 questions are from Art and Culture ,1 question from Modern India ,1 from World History and 1 is from the interpretation of information from World History and Modern India.

QUESTIONS FROM GS PAPER 1 UPSC CSE (Mains)2024
1. Underline the changes in the field of society and economy from the Rig Vedic to the later Vedic period.
2. Estimate the contribution of Pallavas of Kanchi for the development of art and literature of South India.
3. What were the events that led to the Quit India Movement? Point out its results.
4. โ€˜Though the great cholas are no more yet their name is still remembered with great pride because of their highest achievements in the domain of art and architecture.โ€ Comment.
5. How far is it correct to say that the First World War was fought essentially for the preservation of balance of power?
6. How far was the Industrial Revolution in England responsible for the decline of handicrafts and cotttage industries in India?

The first 4 questions are directly to be written from my notes and last 2 questions can be written on the basis of interpretation of information and the classroom discussion.

Finally UPSC took action against Puja Khedkar and cancelled her candidature.
Now UPSC has to take action against those who used loopholes in the selection process by producing fake certificates and did injustice with lots of deserving candidates.
Now, I hope you understand, why Gandhiji emphasis on Means and End.

In the recent tragedy of Old Rajendra Nagar, I have seen the faces of hypocrisy of Administration and Coaching Classes.
Administration in Delhi playing blame game, they are not interested in finding the root cause of the problem and punished those who are guilty.
After the Corona pandemic, we saw the rise of so-called "influential teachers"in the UPSC field, these teachers used social media for their promotions and they tried to portray themselves as youth icons. Their lofty speeches influence lakhs of UPSC aspirants. But this tragedy exposed the hypocrisy of these teachers. Most of them haven't even expressed condolences and didn't even have the courage to accept their mistakes.
Today I remember Gandhiji a lot, because he was the man of word. He always follows, what he says. Gandhi through his Satyagrah emphasis on 3 things-
1) Non acceptance of Injustice.
2) Resistance against Injustice.
3) Replace the Injustice with Justice.
Neither the administration nor the coaching classes have the morality and courage to accept their mistakes. And it's my appeal to all the UPSC aspirants who are living in Delhi please take care of yourself as life is priceless. This is really shameful, my condolences with the family of those students, who lost their lives because of negligence of administration and classes.

And I stand with all my dear students, who are fighting for justice.

Today in the basement of the library of Raus IAS, 3 students were trapped due to heavy rain. And unfortunately, reports said that there is a loss of life. My condolences with the family of those students who lost their lives.
It's my humble request to all the civil service exam aspirants, please take care of your health. I know exams are important but life is priceless.
