On Sunday, 1st December 2024, the *Connexional Prayer Conference (CPC)* was successfully launched at GHAMSU UG-Local. The event took place at the Central Cafeteria and featured the presence of three committee representatives: the Chairman of the committee, Bro. Patrick Abakah, the Treasurer of the committee, Sis. Abigail Amonoo-Neizer and the media and Publicity head, Bro Reginald Adu Nyarko.

The theme for the service was Discipleship: Growing into Christian maturity and the minister was Bro Emmanuel Asamoah Agyei.

The launch provided detailed insights into the upcoming conference, including the date, theme, venue, registration fee, updates on transportation arrangements and T shirts . The session ended with an appeal for funds to support the initiative.


We look forward to an impactful Connexional Prayer Conference to begin the year with.

On 9th to 10th November, Saturday and Sunday respectively. GHAMSU Accra Diocese held their maiden Diocesan Rally at the Good Shepherd Methodist Church, North Kaneshie and also had their induction of Diocesan Executives of the 2024/2025 spiritual year on 9th of November, 2024

The theme for the program was *Being Fruitful In Maturity- John 15:5*

The activities on Saturday were opening ceremony, launch of the rally, talk on the above theme, handing over and induction and musical concert. On Sunday, ambassadors were assigned to 14 societies within the Accra Diocese to have a Thanksgiving Service.

AMBASSADORS IN BRIEF.


On 1st to 6th October, GHAMSU UPSA local had their welfare week celebration at the Trinity Methodist Church and also embarked on a visit on the 12th of October, 2024 at the Dzorwulu special school.
The theme for the program captured spiritual possession, stress management and handling life pressures.

The activities were centered on talks on the above themes and also recipe night where Ambassadors learned how to prepare sharwama.

The week celebration was a success, through the combination of spiritual teachings, practical life guidance and social interaction
