Wolverhampton 20:00 - Triggered (10/1 Bet365 and William Hills) 0.75pt each way

He’s simply just fallen to a mark now where he just has to be backed. A fall in the weights from 76 to this mark of 62 happened steadily through the course of last year and truth be told there were few highlights but his two runs back from a short break have been better.

The first of which was a fourth place finish at Kempton when he ran well from a mid to rear position on the rail waiting for a gap before he could open up. When the chance came he made ground nicely to only be beaten a couple of lengths. Last time out was a slightly worse run when sixth of six but he was in no rush from the gate and they pretty much came home in running order but it’s always quite hard to come from the back at Chelmsford so I’ll give him his excuse and pray to see better here.

Two course and distance wins off marks of 68 and 72 plus places off marks of 61 and 76 say he’s undoubtedly well treated off a mark of 62, which they lower further with the jockeys 7lb claim to an actual racing mark of 55, if the race is run to suit and although that’s not assured I’ll be hoping the early gamble on Surprise Picture in a race he won last year means he will raced more handily than in recent weeks with potential for A Pint Of Bear (stall nine) and River Wharfe (stall eleven) to try and go forward as well. We are drawn stall four so I’d also like to see Triggered adopt a slightly more prominent position, as he was doing when in form in 2023, just in case that early pace doesn’t materialise but either way, he’s shown enough to say a win won’t be far away in the coming weeks

Wolverhampton 19:30 - So Obsessed (11/1 Bet365 (4 places), 8/1 William Hills (3 places)) 0.75pt each way

A toss up between our December winner in Basholo and So Obsessed so I’ll be annoyed if I’ve zigged when I should have zagged but Gustav Graves at 13/8 is an absolutely ridiculous price however much of a plot job that likely is.

So Obsessed is already a course and distance winner in her short career off a mark of 56 and followed that up with wins off 58 and 60 on turf. A couple of quiet runs back from a break have seen her drop to that last winning mark and it’s interesting that her latest run which was a seventh over track and trip was still run faster than Basholos latest win here. She travelled really strong in that race as well before being caught between two other horses and whether she was blocked off slightly or not (looked like it but didn’t see a head on) she seemed to down tools from there. With a lot of these easy to rule out immediately I’d be interested in this one from a good draw in stall two.

Wolverhampton 20:30 - Smokey Malone (11/1 Bet365 and William Hills) 0.75pt each way

I’m glad the early price on Cherry King (last Thursdays three point selection) was taken by the time Saturday morning came along because it would have been a sickener to see him lose to 66/1 shot Desiderata. That one’s turned out quite quickly here and could be anything but having so far gone off prices 66/1+ in all but one of his seven races so far, the one where he didn’t he was 6/1 in a six runner NH maiden flat race, I’d be quite happy to take him on at 6/4 (at time of typing - 21:34) upped nearly three furlongs from the distance he won at on Saturday.

The one I’d be interested in is Smokey Malone who has to bounce back from a poor-ish performance last time out but is also some 8lb below his last winning mark which came this time last year. Off 52 he will be winning sooner rather than later and I’d only be going back two runs to find one good enough that if replicated would be good enough to win here when fourth at Southwell in mid-November. He had the re-opposing High Court Judge in front of him by a couple of lengths on that occasion but the pair had differing luck around the home bend with High Court Judge going wide and getting a clear run through and Smokey getting blocked a couple of times and having to travel from beside High Court Judge to the other far side for a run. When he was clear though he ran the final furlong quicker than High Court Judge and given that one is currently a general 7/2 in the field I couldn’t be having our selection at double figure odds on that evidence.

Wolverhampton 19:20 - Plumette (13/2 Bet365 and William Hills) 1pt each way

Hard to tell what happened last time out because she certainly didn’t run her race and the fog was no help in deducing why but given her form previous to that I’ll give her one last chance here.

Pretty much a copy and paste of the previous write up in that she’s obviously well handicapped off 52 (with a further 7lb taken off here by Taryn Langleys claim) leaving her racing off 45 with her having the beating of both Split Elevens and Reputation on a course and distance run at the start of November. Her last race is a write off as is the previous one to that when she just got no run whatsoever before Rossa Ryan looked after her in the final furlong but the previous run to that was a nice one where she was second with the winner placing in a higher grade since and wins for the fourth and fifth (Bomb Squad, our selection for earlier in the day) horses since. She could be drawn better than the stall seven but the the non-runner leaves her in six and without much early pace on I’ll be hoping she can get a nice early posi.

Wolverhampton 18:50 - Circles (6/1 Bet365, 11/2 William Hills) 1.5pt each way

It’s fair to say Jack Morland has been given the best chance to make a good start to his training career and none of his horses has quite epitomised that as much as Angel Of Antrim who is looking to bring the four timer up here. 10’10” to carry though is a fair ask and at a general-ish 15/8-2/1 he’s taking a fair chunk of the market on a massive if of carrying that weight with plenty more pace in this race than the ones he’s been winning in recently.

The one of more interest to me is Circles who won a division of this race last year off a lb lower than the 59 she runs off here. She’s followed a similar route this year with a run at Fundalk in the week preceding Christmas where she finished 3rd of 14 having finished 2nd last year so shes been set up nicely to repeat last years win.

Wolverhampton 16:50 - Rivas Rob Roy (25/1 William Hills and Paddy Power) 0.5pt each way

I’ve always been one for a good conspiracy so it’s really sticking in my head that Darragh Keenan isn’t on board here having partnered Roy twenty-eight times previously and doesn’t have another a ride in the race although he is taking part in the 16:20 and 20:20 races. The second most used jockey for John Gallagher with 167 rides (two off being the top) the yard opts for Sam Feilden to take the ride on Roy tonight. Fielden is 2-5 (40%) for the yard and this marks his sole ride on the card which strikes me as more than interesting and my pretty much sole reason for the bet here.

His form after a break of fifty days or more reads 4th of 7, 9th of 12, 14th of 14, 6th of 14, 12th of 12, 10th of 10, 12th of 12, 6th of 6 and 4th of 9 says this is a fair swing at a selection on the back of a seventy-five day break but I previously noted his classified level form at Brighton in the summer as reading 621 before he finished seventh in that race after John O’Shea sent one of his out at a ridiculous pace for his other runner to catch for the 1-2 in a race that didn’t suit Roy at all there’s just something that’s niggling me about this jockey booking in this grade.

Wolverhampton 20:00 - Plumette (11/2 Bet365 and William Hills) 1pt each way

She was a ridiculous price at 13/8 last time out and if she’s ever those odds you can afford to let her win but pretty much everything went wrong for her and you’d have to say she was unlucky to not be finishing much closer (or even maybe winning) than the near five lengths she was beaten.

She was slightly slowly away and nudged by horse from the next stall, looked slightly taken off her feet by the early gallop and then was caught in a pocket around the final bend before running into trouble when making her effort before Rossa Ryan just looked after her in the final furlong. She has two course and distance wins over this longer trip off marks of 59 and 65 so is well treated off 53, lowered a further 3lb to 50 by Conor Planas claim, and the form of her recent course and distance third could hardly have worked out any better with the winner Overnight Oats (another Owen carrot job) winning three times since with wins for the second, seventh and tenth subsequently. There’s not much juice left in her price but I’d make her a bet here just about and although she’s clearly not the 65-70 horse she used to be if she’s not able to win off a <55 mark then I’d be surprised. Then again, these mares do what they want.

Wolverhampton 19:00 - Starfighter (8/1 William Hills, 7/1 Bet365 (4 places)) 1pt each way

*Skybet are 15/2 4 places.

Another day another James Owen favourite. Add that to the presence of Moon Over The Sea who was fairly well gambled last time out and I might be shouting wrong here but it’s a case of how low in the handicap can this one drop before he drops in again.

Two course and distance wins off marks of 60 and 59 say he’s undoubtedly well treated off 54 with Mason Paetel lowering that mark by a further 7lb with his clam and ran well last time out to be third behind Khangai (who had been a winner in waiting for a couple of races) and Forge Valley Lad (who slightly disappointed subsequently but will be winning soon). He was beaten a couple of lengths by those two but he was caught in a pocket in behind Forge Valley Lad around the last bend and had to wait for his run just a touch and although he wouldn’t have won, he should have been a bit closer. It’s always worth noting he ran the fastest last third of the race in the field and I’d say at anything 9/2+ he’s value in this field of backing up that last run.

Wolverhampton 15:35 - Masqool (6/1 Bet365, 11/2 Paddy Power, Skybet and William Hills) 1.5pt each way

Overnight Oats is the in form horse looking to bring up the five timer here and those James Owen carrots seem to be something special so it might be a case of that one progressing further but I rate Masqool my biggest bet of the day here.

Class six form figures of 21456335167237111223 for the horse say he’s more than solid at this level and having gone off prices of 20/1, 80/1, 16/1, 125/1, 14/1, 6/1 and 4/1F in his last seven runs he’s dropped from 77 in the weights to the 60 he runs off here. He was backed last time and I expected slightly better from him there but the form of the race hasn’t worked out bad with wins for the fifth and sixth placed horses with further places for the winner and the eighth. Masqool was third over an inadequate mile there so back up in trip to just slightly short of the ten furlongs his last four wins have come over I’d rate him a massive chance here.

Georges Horses

26 Dec, 08:36

Wolverhampton 14:25 - Further Measure (8/1 Bet365, 15/2 Paddy Power and Betfair) 1pt each way

His first eight runs for this trainer (under the partnership, not the sole name) looked nothing more than handicapping to me with the first six runs being over anything between seven furlongs and the extended nine when he’d previously been winning at a mile and half to a mile and six but that alongside nine runs under a seven lb claimer did at least see him drop from 67 to 57 in the weights.

Two runs back from a five month break have seen him run over a mile and half and then a mile and six both beaten five lengths but he should be spot on for this on his third run with the form of the last race working out not half bad so far with the winner producing form figures of 23 (the 2 in a higher grade), the second winning twice since (once in a higher grade), a place for the third (again, higher grade) and a fourth place finish for the seventh (beaten four lengths, less than the amount he was beaten by our selection on that start).

Now back up in trip to the two miles he’s gone off 11/4 and 7/2 favourite the last twice over this distance and I’d expect him to be bang there at the finish under Marco Ghiani off this reduced mark.

Lingfield 14:00 - Starsong (8/1 William Hills, 15/2 Skybet, Paddy Power and Bet365 (All 4 places)) 1pt each way

Interesting market moves for Hello Zabeel early doors but he went off 4/1 Fav last time out and was beaten seven lengths (albeit over a furlong further) so I couldn’t be having that one here at the prices and looks worth taking on.

The issue is either everything wants to be on the pace or is just poor so it’s either going to be a battling front runner who wins or the race will completely fall apart and be handed to something who would have no chance on paper. Starsong will be up on the pace but does have the positive of being the front runner drawn closest to the rail. Now he’s still in stall six but the other pace angles are Hello Zabeel (eight), Barnsnape Boy (nine), Lord Danielson (ten) and Unavailable (twelve). I’m hoping those four cause a bit of trouble for each other in their early rushes to the front and we can get away to lead although that seems wishful thinking but there’s no doubting he’s well handicapped and had excuses on his three runs back from a break. That has at least seen him drop from 61 to 54 in the handicap and runs in a 0-55 for the first time. It’s a race where we will need a bit of luck and he may well end up with yet more excuses but there’s no doubting he’s the best of these to follow in the short term in my opinion so at these prices looks worth a go.

Newcastle 19:30 - Asadjumeirah (7/1 Bet365 and Skybet (Both 4 places)) 1pt each way

Copy and paste, copy and paste.

This is probably the hundredth time he’s appeared on this channel but I’m determined I’ll get a win from him eventually. The market seems taken by Cut To The Chase who won over course and distance just five days ago but that win was run slower than She’sashambles course and distance second place finish last time out which was in turn run slower than both Asadjumeirahs recent track and trips third place finishes.

He’s since run well at Chelmsford from a pretty impossible draw in stall twelve when running 2lb ‘wrong’ but off a mark of 47 I’d say surely it’s a case of when he wins rather than if but I’ve been saying that for the best part of two years now. He comes with a wealth warning but there’s been enough positives recently to say he’s worth another go here.

Wolverhampton 19:00 - Sophosc (8/1 Bet365 and William Hills) 1pt each way

Ether today is the day or not there is no doubting in my head once this one wins it will start somewhat of a sequence and it may as well be here.

For all there is plenty of winning form from elsewhere in the field coming into this the yard have done an exceptional job in getting him down the weights over trips are too short for him. His first four runs back from a year off were over trips between seven and eleven furlongs all of which were way too short yet the handicapper has let him drop down to 56 from 73 in the weights. It was no surprise to see him run better last time out upped back to the mile and half trip beaten just a length with the second winning since and the winner placing and I’d fancy Sophosc can back that up upped even further in trip to two mile here. He has only the one other previous run at this distance and that was nearly three years ago yet when you look at it you’d be struggling to see why they haven’t tried it again with him. That was a class three beaten two lengths and off the back of a steady pace (I expect similar this time) he put in a decent last four furlongs and there’s no way you could say he didn’t stay so after the yards bit of inventive handicapping I’d make him a bet here

Wolverhampton 20:30 - Gustav Graves (14/1 Bet365, 12/1 William Hills) 0.75pt each way

Beauzon and Nelson Gay head the market here and with plenty of pace on in the field they sit far back enough to have the race run to suit but given Beauzons recent form has come over a furlong further and Nelson Gay has been bang out of form Im siding with another in the shape of page stalwart Gustav Graves.

He’s not really been doing much recently but in races that have been steadily run he hasn’t disgraced himself and having hit 78 in ratings there was only one way for his mark to go. Now off 61 he’s still a few lbs higher than I’d like but three wins between 62 and 69 last year say he’s capable for all I think those races weren’t the best but he will get the race he wants here. Agostino (stall ten), Pop Dancer (stall seven), Recon Mission (stall six) and Lion Ring (stall four) are all happiest on the front end and with the likes of So Obsessed and Classy Clarets right up behind them there should be a decent amount of early pace in the race which will suit Gustav Graves late running on style down to the ground and now reunited with Jo Mason (who is the best female jockey on the circuit) who has form figures of 2645131312119 on the horse when running from marks under 70 Id expect a big run now Derek Shaw has notched his first winter winner.

Wolverhampton 18:30 - Miss Sunset Strip (9/1 William Hills, 17/2 Skybet) 1pt each way

She’s got nearly twelve lengths to make up with Lady Wingalong from last time out but she was hampered badly coming around the home bend and that was it for her effort. She’d done well to get an early prominent position from stall nine though and looked like she was winding up for a run before that happened so for all she might not have beat the winner she wouldn’t have been far off.

Nammos was second in that race giving 5lb to Lady Wingalong being beat just over a length but previous to that had beat our selection by half a length off level weights. Miss Sunset Strip has to give 5lb to Lady Wingalong here so you’d say she’s got a few lb to make up with the Fav on numbers but Nammos was hands and heels all the way to the line under his 7lb claimer on that occasion while also being hampered about a furlong out and having to switch right. Miss Sunset Strip should be getting a much better ride tonight switched from Freddie Larson to Kieran Shoemark, who has a 7-26 (27%), record for Amy Murphy in the last five years and he looks a notable enough booking to say they’d expect a big run from her as well.

Newcastle 11:47 - Annandale (8/1 Bet365, 7/1 William Hills) 1pt each way

Jim Goldie and his jockey bookings will forever be a mystery to me and even in this case I’m not sure to what end they’ve been trying to get too because the last four races where they sent him up to a two mile trip before dropping to the one mile all ridden by a 7lb claimer have only seen him drop 1lb in the weights to 59 from 60.

He’s happiest bang between those two trips though and that’s what he gets here with a switch back to Paul Mulrennan who has already won on the horse this year (Ayr, 1m5f). That win came with the re-opposing Laudable just over a length behind him and with the pair facing each other subsequently over this course and distance with Laudable getting the better of our selection on that occasion by a couple of lengths but a slow start did for Annandale there having run fairly identical sectionals to Laudable bar the first two furlongs. On the face of it it doesn’t look like they’ll be in any hurry here and that will suit our selection so I reckon anything above an 11/2 price is more than fair here

Wolverhampton 20:30 - Starfighter (14/1 Bet365, 12/1 Paddy Power) 0.75pt each way

You’ve got to forgive his last couple of runs where he has been beaten twelve lengths (twice) and trust that with one following a sixty day break and the other off a hundred and fifty day break he’s still sound but if he is there’s no doubting he should have a win in him off the lowest mark he’s ever raced off here.

Having generally left his best form to here or Newcastle with wins here between marks of 74 and 59 I’ll take a chance on him coming on for that first run in five months with the booking of Millie Wonnacott looking a positive with a 2-9 record for the yard. The progressive Caramay and the magic carrots for Dillidingdillydong aside the rest of the field doesn’t arrive in much form so the chance looks worth taking at a double figure price on this one as much as it wouldn’t surprise me if he fell out of the back of the tv.

I’m breaking a golden rule here but backing a Butler horse on the drift but I couldn’t be having the horses that have seen market support and I’m just hoping this one gets smashed in the ten minutes before the off because no way should he be this price.

A three time course and distance winner off marks of 49, 52 and 55 his mark of 54 here is fine if the handbrake is off. Whether it is or not is anyone’s guess but I’ve taken note of the jockey booking of Kaiya Fraser who is excellent value for his claim and is also 5-22 (23%) for this yard so he is obviously on their fancied ones. Four runs for this yard have resulted in a cumulative defeat of 25 lengths but that has at least seen his mark drop from 59 to his last winning mark of 55. I’m not utterly convinced he wants the extended nine furlongs here unless everything falls right for him and with two of the other races being over the full ten furlongs on turf he’s got excuses for me.

That said, he’s back to the extended mile here which I much prefer him over and with Jack Doughty taking off a valuable 5lb drawn in stall 4 he’s pretty much got ideal conditions here. At the very least he shouldn’t be a bigger price than Angel Of Antrim who he beat over this course and distance in January and claims accounted for is 6lb better off this time round.

The money for Fariha is interesting but a third headgear change after just nine runs says she might be a bit of a cunt even though it wouldn’t surprise me if she won given the trainer and the fact her best two runs have come after switching from no headgear to aids.

Kodebreaker has been the surprise drifter for me because I’d have him closely matched with Midnightattheoasis yet that one has stayed fairly steady in the market even though his two other runs fresh have resulted in five and seven length defeats and this is his first run for 224 days. Kodebreaker is a former course and distance winner off a mark of 56 and his last win came off 55 in July so running off 57 here he’s well within his reach. He’s drawn seven which is just slightly higher than ideal for me but there doesn’t look a lot of early pace in the field so hopefully Tom Eaves gets him right up there early and we can pick up the Herrington / Eaves double.

Southwell 17:45 - Anif (17/2 Skybet, 8/1 Bet365 (Both 4 places)) 1pt each way

Quite easy to rule a few out here and for my own betting I’d be quite happy to dutch Anif and Reputation with a small stake on the reverse forecast but I’d say there was more value in the Anif price than the other so that’s the one I’m going with here.

He does tend to win when he wants with this yard having gone it at SPs of 16/1, 15/2, 9/2, 10/1, 22/1, 15/2, 40/1 and 12/1 in chronological order. That being said I’m happy to forgive his latest run which was a nine length defeat but was also his first encounter of truly soft ground over a mile and I can’t imagine he would have enjoyed that much so back on an artificial surface I’d expect a better run. He’s not quite the horse that won over this course and distance in November 2022 having dropped from a mark in the mid 70s quite quickly since then with the two bright spots being his wins at Yarmouth off 50 and 53 with him racing here off 55 tonight I fancy him to still be able to notch up a win or two off this kind of mark. He’s drawn stall four and he’s tactically fairly versatile so hopefully Tom Eaves (who’s back for the ride having been ridden by claimer the last six runs) adopts a prominent position with there not being much obvious pace in the field.

Someone cleverer than me would have ignored that with the jockey booking. Poor ride

Wolverhampton 17:45 - Araifjan (9/1 Bet365, 8/1 William Hills and Skybet) 1pt each way

Not the best jockey booking in the world here but that shouldn’t matter as long as he can point and shoot with that 7lb claim coming in more than handy if all goes to plan.

My Genghis just screams the wrong favourite here given his course and distance win produced slower run furlongs at every point than Araifjan ran for his second place finish over the same course and distance two runs back and the gamble on Beauzon is interesting given what he did at the turn of this year and now a lb lower than when that run started but I’d hope they leave his winning until after the new year.

Araifjan last won off 59 so off 52 here he just has the look of an animal who will win sooner rather than later and given the times he clocked recently compared to the favourite I’m more than willing to back him here.

Southwell 19:45 - Oso Rapido (8/1 Bet365, 15/2 William Hills) 1.5pt each way

Another Monday, another Southwell bet.

I make this quite a strong one at the current 8/1 available in a place but the general 7/1 is also more than kind if you can forgive his last run. He probably suffered from going a bit quick there on the soft ground with four of the first five home coming from mid division or worse and on that note I’d be keeping an eye out for the second place in that race Belsito who started well and finished well being the only ‘prominent’ runner who kept up the gallop with the third place Music Society winning in a higher grade since but I’ll forgive Oso that one and look back to this run previous to that that has to make him of serious interest here.

That was a third place finish over course and distance when he did the quickest first furlong by some way to lead the field from the widest draw in stall 12 giving himself a nearly impossible task of lasting home. He eventually weakened into third but that form has been boosted with wins from the second (over course and distance), the eighth and the ninth since so with him down in class from that run and drawn better in stall six he has to be a bet with Jason Hart up who has three previous wins partnering the horse.

Southwell 20:30 - King Of York (13/2 Skybet, 6/1 Bet365 and Paddy Power (All 4 places)) 1pt each way

0-3 in this grade, 0-10 over course and distance and only 1-18 over the trip I’m quite foolishly making this my best bet of the day.

He’s just got the look of a really well handicapped horse who since returning from a 112 day break has dropped from 66 to 59 in the ratings with only one run of the five being really below par with excuses for the others in my opinion. There’s no doubting that his last run was the best though and sparked a return to form where without the tardy start he would have had a real chance of winning. Instead he was fourth beaten just over a length but the handicapper has left him alone so up in trip (for all he’s got a poor record over the distance the times he’s recorded previously say he’s a stayer imo) and down in grade he rates a bet off this having never been as low in the weights. The race is quite competitive for the grade but unless he puts in a really bad performance here I’d be tempted to back him blind for the next two or three runs if the price is there because he won’t be long in winning.

Wolverhampton 20:15 - English Spirit (11/2 William Hills, 5/1 Bet365 and Skybet) 1pt win

Plenty of pace here with Harbour Vision (stall 1), Wadacre Tivoli (stall 8), Bay Of Australia (stall 9) all going to want to be prominent with the selection English Spirit (stall 3), Newfangled (stall 6) and Maith An Farrh (stall 2) all going to be right up in behind. Being drawn on the inside though will be an advantage and I imagine he will end up one next to the rail with Maith An Farrh on his inside so he shouldn’t be leaving much to chance coming round the home bend.

He’s dropped from a mark of 68 in March to the 62 he races off here and the handicapper has been fairly generous with that because he’s been running decently in better races than this and he’s got excuses for the heavy-ish defeats the last twice having done too much too early last time out and the race before was on soft ground which I doubt would have suited with his previous form on soft ground (well actually good to soft but for the sake of argument it works here) has resulted in a 7th of 12 finish beaten eight lengths and a 13th of 13 beaten nearly ten lengths. This marks his first start in a Class 6 since 2022 with the last resulting in a win so I’d expect him to be more a 7/2 - 3/1 in this field

Kempton 20:15 - Lilkian (8/1 Paddy Power and Betfair (Both 4 places)) 0.75pt each way

*William Hills are 17/2 but only 3 places

He’s not been at his best this year and sits 9lb below his last winning mark but (arguably) his best form has come here or at Lingfield even though he has won at every all weather course he’s raced at.

Form figures of 30214532210707 at the course with two of the ‘0’s in cheekpieces in which he has posted finishing positions of 00270 when sporting any sort of headgear so you can excuse those two efforts says if he’s bouncing back to form it may well be here and the booking of Jason Watson (general 20% strike rate from 98 rides for the yard) bodes well for that. Stall one is ideal for his run style while less so is the presence of Sir Rodneyredblood but as long as they don’t take each other on I have no issues and he looks an each way shout

Newcastle 20:00 - Whatwouldyouknow (9/1 William Hills, 17/2 Paddy Power) 1pt each way

Four lengths with only a lb weight swing with Mr Heinz might be a big ask here for our selection to turn around given that only came a month ago and Whatwouldyouknow hardly looked like a win was coming last time out but I just wonder how much he will be perked up by the returning cheekpieces.

He hardly needs them with plenty of wins and near misses without any headgear but he does have form figures of 1227 when switching from no accessories to some type of gear so just on that basis I’d be taking an each way interest in him. He’s drawn twelve and more importantly on the rail so he should get the perfect running position behind the leaders tonight.
