Please address this thing as ongc didn't hire from 2022(very less seat for general, 2023 and 2024) now they have put age limit of 26. In this what are the options for us. Like should I prepare for ongc anymore or not Or should I continue working in my job

ANS: Age Limit (with age relaxation) will be considered as on last date of application. For Generals, ONGC has implemented an age limit of 26 years for the 2025 recruitment cycle. Since you are 26 years and 2 months old as of now , you are not eligible to apply as per the advertisement notice.

If ONGC recruitment through CBT doesn’t seem viable, focusing on your current job could also be a good option while GATE or other public sector exams that might still accept your age, for higher studies like M.Tech, etc.

7: Will the ONGC CBT Follow the GATE Exam Pattern?
ANS: The exam pattern of ONGC may have similarities with GATE in terms of the subject focus, but it does not strictly follow the GATE format. Here is a rough idea:
