भारतीय निर्यात ऋण गारंटी निगम (ईसीजीसी) ने ऋण उपलब्धता बढ़ाने और ऋण देने की प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाने के लिए निर्विक नामक निर्यात ऋण बीमा योजना (ईसीआईएस) शुरू की है। यह एक बीमा कवर गारंटी है जो मूलधन और ब्याज का 90% तक कवर करेगी। कवर में प्री और पोस्ट-शिपमेंट क्रेडिट दोनों शामिल होंगे। ईसीजीसी वर्तमान में 60% तक के नुकसान की ऋण गारंटी प्रदान करता है। बढ़ा हुआ कवर यह सुनिश्चित करेगा कि निर्यातकों के लिए विदेशी और रुपया निर्यात ऋण ब्याज दरें क्रमशः 4% और 8% से कम होंगी। भारतीय निर्यात ऋण गारंटी निगम ईसीजीसी लिमिटेड पूरी तरह से वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय के स्वामित्व में है। भारत सरकार ने सबसे पहले 1957 में निर्यात जोखिम बीमा निगम की स्थापना की थी। 1962-64 की अवधि के दौरान बैंकों को बीमा कवर की शुरुआत के बाद, 1964 में इसका नाम बदलकर निर्यात ऋण एवं गारंटी निगम लिमिटेड कर दिया गया। अगस्त 2014 में इसका नाम बदलकर ईसीजीसी लिमिटेड कर दिया गया। इसका उद्देश्य निर्यात के लिए ऋण जोखिम बीमा और संबंधित सेवाएं प्रदान करके देश से निर्यात को बढ़ावा देना था। स्रोत: पीआईबी

💐The announcement to celebrate Veer Bal Diwas was made on January 9, 2022, by the Honorable Prime Minister of our country Mr. Narendra Modi.

💐 Under Veer Bal Diwas 2022, his two more elder brothers Sahibzada Ajit Singh ji and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh ji were martyred fighting the enemy on 21 December 17 under Chamkaur Sahib at the young age of just 18 years and 14 years respectively. KCC stands for Kisan Credit Card, a government initiative in India launched in 1998 to provide farmers with timely access to credit. It was introduced by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) to support farmers in meeting their agricultural and allied needs.

### History and Purpose:
1. Launch: The Kisan Credit Card was introduced in 1998 to simplify the credit delivery system for farmers.
2. Main Objective: It aims to provide farmers with short-term formal credit for crop cultivation, consumption requirements, and post-harvest expenses, reducing dependency on informal moneylenders.
3. Scheme Extension: Initially designed for crop loans, KCC has expanded to include term loans for agriculture and allied activities like animal husbandry, fisheries, etc.
4. Card Issuance: Banks issue the KCC to eligible farmers, giving them a credit limit based on landholding and crop patterns.
5. Interest Subvention: Farmers can avail of subsidized interest rates (as low as 4% annually, with timely repayments), making credit cheaper.

### How KCC Helps:
1. Access to Funds: Farmers get easy access to loans for purchasing seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, etc.
2. Timely Credit: Immediate access to credit prevents delays in agricultural activities.
3. Flexible Withdrawals: Farmers can withdraw from their KCC account as needed during the farming season.
4. Reduced Dependence on Informal Loans: Farmers don't need to rely on high-interest moneylenders, ensuring fair credit terms.
5. Insurance Cover: KCC holders also get personal accident insurance, offering financial protection against disability or death.
6. Extended to Allied Activities: The scheme now covers farmers involved in animal husbandry, fisheries, etc., enhancing overall rural income.

Overall, the KCC helps in streamlining access to institutional credit, improving productivity, and ensuring financial security for farmers.

क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों (RRBs) की स्थापना भारत में मुख्यतः ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में बैंकिंग सेवाओं को विस्तारित करने और ग्रामीण विकास को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से की गई थी। जबकि राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक पहले से ही मौजूद थे, RRBs की आवश्यकता निम्नलिखित कारणों से थी:

1. ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में पहुंच: राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक अक्सर शहरी और अर्ध-शहरी क्षेत्रों में अधिक केंद्रित रहते थे, जबकि RRBs का मुख्य उद्देश्य ग्रामीण और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों में बैंकिंग सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराना था।

7. सामाजिक समावेशन: RRBs ने ग्रामीण और पिछड़े वर्ग के लोगों को बैंकिंग प्रणाली से जोड़ने में महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई, जिससे समग्र वित्तीय समावेशन को बढ़ावा मिला।

8. कृषि और ग्रामीण उद्योगों को बढ़ावा: RRBs ने कृषि, कुटीर उद्योग, हस्तशिल्प और छोटे व्यवसायों को वित्तीय सहायता दी, जिससे ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में रोजगार के अवसर बढ़े।

9. आसान ऋण और ब्याज दरें: RRBs ने ग्रामीण ग्राहकों के लिए ऋण की प्रक्रिया को आसान और कम ब्याज दरों के साथ उपलब्ध कराया, जिससे उन्हें कर्ज की आसानी हुई।

10. समग्र राष्ट्रीय विकास में सहयोग: RRBs ने ग्रामीण और दूरस्थ क्षेत्रों को वित्तीय सेवाएँ देकर पूरे देश के संतुलित विकास में योगदान दिया।

अतः RRBs ने राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंकों के साथ मिलकर ग्रामीण विकास और समावेशी बैंकिंग के लक्ष्यों को प्राप्त करने में सहायक भूमिका निभाई।
