Dear Miners,

The Ezil mining pool shut down its operations on March 25, 2024. We have made sure that all payouts were made and have decided to bear the costs for even the smallest balances to be paid out. You need to switch to another pool to continue mining.

We would kindly like to remind you that, as per the General Terms of Operation, the balances of Miners who had not been actively mining with our pool for any 180 consecutive days by the moment of pool shutdown were forfeited.

Dear miners,

After sending out payouts to the miners of OCTA network, we noticed that the coin team did not lower the reward after block 4,000,000 to 1.85 OCTA according to the documentation, but kept it at 2.3 OCTA for a full block.

In this regard, starting from February 9, 2024 13:17 UTC, our system followed the data from the coin documentation: https://files.octa.space/OctaSpaceBrief.pdf and awarded a reward of 1.85 OCTA, although in reality it was 2.3 OCTA per block. The pool team has already accrued and paid the missed reward to all miners today.

Ezil.me has been a top tier Ethereum mining pool for many years. We’ve been curious and gathered some stats - in nearly 5 years Ezil has mined 77006 blocks of Ethereum!

All this would have been impossible without you, miners. Thank you for being with us for the past 5 years💙 We appreciate all the positive comments and feedback you shared through our social media channels and in Telegram chat. It’s been a pleasure working with you. We are proud of the amazing mining community we built together over the years and we wish you the best in your future endeavours.

Dear miners,

The ETHF coin (new name - Dischain) is experiencing syncing issue of the blockchain. Blocks that the pool mines will be rejected by the network. Please immediately switch your equipment to any other coin.

In recent weeks, there have been major issues in the ETHF network; on March 3, all but one of the pool nodes went down. Usually in such cases, re-synchronizing the blockchain “from scratch” helps, but in the case of ETHF/Dischain this function simply does not work - the node crashes with the error:

This error tells us that the block sent by another node is invalid. After several similar errors, synchronization freezes. We contacted the coin team - they shared with us the preloaded state of the blockchain, but this did not help us. Since then, the pool has been running on one single node.

Today, 5 hours ago - at 16.00 UTC, the last working ETHF node stopped syncing. We think the reason is the unsuccessful Venezia hard fork. From then on, all ETHF blocks that our pool mines will be rejected by the network. Please switch your equipment to other coins.

Payments of ETHF coins are currently suspended until the situation is resolved.

We regret to inform you that our team has made a decision to shut down Ezil.me mining pool and cease its operations on 25 March 2024 (12:00 PM UTC).

However we will continue running our staking nodes and operating as validators. For instance, you can continue staking ZIL either with Ezil.me or with our friends Avely Finance.

Why is Ezil shutting down mining operations?

Unfortunately the Ethereum Merge had a tremendous negative impact on the crypto mining market and basically destroyed GPU mining, which is now barely profitable. We tried to remain optimistic and invested quite a lot of effort in market research, exploring the various opportunities for GPU miners after The Merge. But sadly there are no alternatives that could possibly compete with the Ethereum PoW market size.

Given the current market conditions it's becoming increasingly difficult for us to stay profitable and keep investing in further development of our mining pool especially when the future of GPU mining itself remains very uncertain. The founders of Ezil had to admit it’s time to move on and pursue other endeavours such as validating innovative protocols and blockchains.

What happens to outstanding payouts?💰⚙️

After Ezil.me seizes all mining operations on 25 March 2024 (12:00 PM UTC) we will automatically process all outstanding payouts within a few business days.
If you decide to leave the pool before that you can request your payout by contacting our tech support team💬

We would like to remind you that according to the paragraph 9.14 of our Terms of Operations any accrued balances of miners that have been inactive for the period of 180 consecutive days are automatically forfeited.

This is the end of an era for our entire team. Ezil.me has been a top tier Ethereum mining pool for many years. Our team has grown from a few people to a big team distributed all over the world. We are proud of our achievements as we always tried to bring you the best profitability and services on the market. But we have to face the reality and admit that GPU mining is becoming obsolete.

The share of total rewards allocated to SSNs on Zilliqa will be reduced from 40% to 34% on Tuesday, 16 January.

This adjustment is in line with a proposal passed through governance last year that aims to reduce inflation on the network and improving the ZIL token's long-term sustainability.

The staking reward share will continue to be reduced at a rate of 1% per month until it reaches 25%.

Starting from January 16 Zilliqa staking rewards will begin to decrease at a rate of 1% a month. This adjustment will reduce the staking annual percentage rate (APR) to approximately 8% over the next 15 months.

Ezil pays 6+ ZIL for 100MH/s which brings 69% extra profit on average to our miners.

Zilliqa: rewards have been credited with a delay. System works properly now. Zilliqa withdrawals will be continued today.
