Let's talk about Tentrade 3 mins rule
Tentrade 3 mins rule states that you should hold your trade for at least 3 mins. This is to curb scalping for fews second with big lotsizes and to ensure you plan your trade well before getting in.
The 3 mins rule also applies to SL and TP. So even if your SL was tagged within 3 mins, it's still a violation
What happens when you breach this rule?
Your account will be reset, profits forfeited and you'd start afresh
How do you avoid breaching the 3 mins rule?
1. If you must trade news ensure to enter 3 mins early so that the news doesn't trip your SL or TP within 3 mins. For instance of news is by 1:30pm, you could enter by 1:26pm.
2. Don't use tight stops. Give the market room to breathe so you don't get stopped out in less than 3 mins.
3. Use a stop clock to be sure it's up to 3 mins before closing your trades
