Job Summary:



We are seeking a skilled and motivated Building Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining building automation systems (BAS) to optimize the performance and energy efficiency of commercial and industrial buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC, lighting, and energy management systems, as well as proficiency in programming and troubleshooting of DDC Controls, BAS Supervisor software. You will be also responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with commissioning Building Management Systems, Guest Room Management System (GRMS), Lighting Control Systems (KNX, Dali) , Industrial Automation Systems, and Automation Control Panels.



Key Responsibilities:



Design, develop, and deploy building automation systems for BMS, lighting Control, Guest Room Management, and other facility systems.
Program, configure, and test DDC Programming Tools, BAS Supervisor software to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
Conduct system commissioning and troubleshooting to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate BAS into new and existing building projects.
Monitor and analyse system performance, making adjustments to improve efficiency and sustainability.
Provide technical support and training to facility management teams on BAS operation and maintenance.
Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in building automation and energy management.


Qualifications:



Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in building automation systems design and implementation ( 1 - 2 year).
Proficiency in DDC Programming tools /BAS programming, SCADA, HMI Designing and software tools (e.g., Tridium Niagara, Trend, Siemens, Honeywell).
Experience with integration and communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, Lon Works, and others.
Experience in Tridium Niagara N4 (JACE-8000 / 9000 and Supervisor) will be an added advantage.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, energy management, and control systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
