America has assumed the role of being the peacemaker of the world. This is a self appointed role.
Trump's intentions to annex Greenland have been met with opposition from the EU.
The EU countries have paid a heavy price for getting involved in the Ukraine war.
They took their instructions from the US. Today most of these countries have become bankrupt.
Taking over the Greenland for Norway, with the threat of sanctions is a new way of colonising foreign lands.
Greenland is rich in oil, gas and mineral resources. If Trump is using security as the reason for wanting to annex Greenland then China is justified in wanting to take over Taiwan because the US has a number of bases in Taiwan, which is a threat to the US.
The same applies to Russia. They merely wanted to take over Belarus in Ukraine to protect its Russian speaking residents and prevent NATO from extending its borders right up to Russia.
When China or Russia have army bases close to the US, the US makes a major issue of it, but if the US has army bases right at the doorstep of either China or Russia they legitimise it by using words like to protect democracy. This is blatant hypocrisy.
