When it comes to striving for success, it’s important to know yourself
Me personally, I always avoid TV-shows because whenever I watch one and love it, even just like it, I need to finish it ASAP hahah
So I only watch like 1 or 2 shows a year. For Christmas I thought fuck it, I’ll take a couple days off and watched a cool show called Day of the Jackal. I loved it, very good. Watched the season in like 2 days.
Time-wise this impacted my life cause I went to bed at 3am lol. Most detrimentally though, my mindspace and focus got impaired - I kept thinking about the show and needed to find out what happens
I think I have a somewhat addictive personality. I like to finish what I started, and to a high standard. Perfectionist one may say.
With TV-shows, this means being efficient and binging it in just days lol
With my marketing and consulting work, this means utter concentration, high work ethic and delivering utmost quality results.

Just checked my iphone screentime stats and for the past few months, I’ve only averaged 25 minutes on Instagram per day
Doesn’t seem like much does it…
But after just a couple days of having it removed from my phone, it’s been crazy to notice how my automatic, brainless response often is to click the app and pointlessly scroll
Since IG is gone I‘ve instead been resorting to my book (called the Personal MBA) and I can already feel benefits of the mini-dopamine detox
25 mins daily doesn’t seem much but that’s 2.91 hours of unproductive activity per week
If I can choose between 175 minutes of looking at memes or 175 minutes of something productive that’ll get me ahead in life while I’m young…
To me, the answer is obvious!!

Whenever I think I’ve stumbled across a gem
I’ve learnt to stop overanalysing and stop overthinking it
Yes, understand what you hold and have a thesis
But taking memecoins at face-value is most effective because it allows you to simplify things and think of the coins from the POV of retail noob traders (which you’re trying to front-run).
On that note, we’re in a bullrun. It’s truly becoming buy high and sell higher season.
I think it’s okay to FOMO regardless of price if you ever want to make sure you’re not priced out - but you need CONVICTION
Taking 5 mins to decide how much to buy versus taking 2 hours can be the difference between a 10x or 20x
And that’s a huge difference 🤝

I recently purchased the paid version of @nansen_ai to improve my onchain analysis of existing and potential trades/investments
One of their key features is finding ‘smart money’ wallets trading the coin (whales with high PnLs, good success rates, etc)
But I’ve realised whenever I’m fairly early to a coin, I can’t find any smart money ppl
Which means I AM the smart money lmao
$nomnom at 2m and $shrub at 4m didn’t have too much interest from alpha wallets, its only been as they’ve grown to 35m and 70m respectively that interesting wallets have begun to get more involved
I’ve done good on $nomnom but would you believe me if I said I faded $shrub at 4m mc after analysing everything about it for an hour?
Basically just didn’t buy because I didn’t have any cash available. Which is a learning lesson to always have stables ready for easy opportunities.
I saw $dolan at 1.4m last month and liked it but didn’t buy due to no cash - recently hit 90m
Now the same happened at 4m floor with $shrub - hit 71m today
You can’t spell millions without a couple L’s
Lesson learnt, won’t fuck up again. And I promise to share more coins on my watchlist from now on (there’s lots)
