Russia used ICBMs apparently for the first time ever in an active war.

Normally intercontinental missiles include a nuclear warhead but these only had regular warheads. Their range is 3700 miles, cannot be stopped and they can hit any European capital. This was clearly a warning.

There is some dispute if these were intercontinental ballistic missiles or just continental ballistic missiles. Essentially the dispute is on semantics on the range capability.

It is striking that Russia launched a nuclear capable missile like this at Europe and NATO gave no warning of a potential nuclear strike to citizens.

Zelensky on X complained about the insanity of Putin and commended Ukrainians for their bravery to stand up to Putin and fight for Ukraine. He also had a meeting with UK Delegation and thanked for their cooperation.
