Attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

Cymare invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of Technical Purchasing Officer/Assistant Technical Superintendent based in our Limassol office.

Job Description:
Coordinating with Technical Superintendent and arranging for the timely and cost effective delivery of stores, spares and necessary services to vessels
Manage service and material’s requests issued from the vessel which has been approved by Technical Superintendent
Check the request and send to suppliers for quotation
Complete orders and track shipment from vendor’s warehouse to destination or through a selected forwarding agent
Check for final delivery on board, coordinate with local appointed agency and the vessel
Evaluate suppliers' performance together with Technical Superintendent

Candidate profile:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar in house role or experience with services and/or repairs of marine equipment
A dynamic and results-oriented individual
High sense of initiative, professionalism and responsibility
Ability to work under pressure and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Excellent command of the written and spoken English is a must
Adequate PC knowledge
