This was the interim budget 2024, and the final budget for 2024 is expected in July after the elections. Anticipate major changes at that time.

Currently, there are no changes in direct and indirect tax rates.

For May/Nov 2024, the applicable Finance Act is still 2023, not 2024. So, both this interim and final budgets 2024 are not relevant for May/Nov 2024 students.
