This is done with the view of getting ready for the next phase of growth for Concordium (and also based on some feedback we’ve heard from the community).

We have a few exciting updates! 👇

🔹 We will use the channel Concordium News (@ConcordiumNews) as the go-to place for all ecosystem updates including tech, news, partnerships, and articles. It's designed to keep everyone in the loop and to serve as a starting point for new community members (yes, we expect many new members soon).

🔹 We’ve renamed the Concordium Group to Concordium Community (@ConcordiumCommunity)! This space is all about you—our community. It’s where we come together to engage, share ideas, and discuss everything happening in the Concordium ecosystem. Expect polls, regular surveys, and plenty of ways for everyone to stay connected and involved. This is the place to get to know each other and be a part of the conversation!

The Browser Wallet has received a major UI/UX revamp as part of the CryptoX Wallet UI redesign. Now you have a more seamless experience across web and mobile.

✅ Refreshed UI – A cleaner, more user-friendly interface.
✅ Streamlined Navigation – Easier wallet management, token handling & transactions.

🔹 Phased Rollout
• Phase 1 – Opt-in Now → Existing users can switch to the new UI via settings. New users will experience it by default.
• Phase 2 – Full Migration Coming Soon → The old UI will be phased out gradually.

Android update: Dual wallet feature is here!

The CryptoX wallet for Android now supports managing both file-based and seed-phrase wallets in one app. This ensures flexibility and backward compatibility for existing users.

What’s New:
Dual Wallet Management: Switch seamlessly between file-based and seed-phrase wallets.
Updated Links: Access Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy from the About screen.
Bug Fixes: Corrected support email and fixed broken documentation links.
Removed: Ability to create new accounts and identities in a file-based wallet (we recommend that you migrate to a seed phrase wallet in order to make use of the full range of CryptoX features)

Important Notes:
Affects file-based and seed-phrase wallet users—now easier to manage.
Seed-phrase users and new users are unaffected.
iOS users: Dual wallet support coming soon!

File-Based Wallet Users:
Go to "More/Settings"; select "Wallets."
Select “Add a file wallet” and follow the steps to import your wallet file.

Hi everyone!

We’re testing a revamped version of our Browser Wallet UI, and we’d love your feedback! The update aligns with the Crypto X design and includes new features like an improved menu, better onboarding, enhanced token management, and full-screen pages.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Check it out:
- Option 1: Clone the Git repo (switch from ‘main’ to ‘browser-ui-update’ branch) and follow the instructions on the homepage to install (scroll down to the page)
- Option 2: Go to the Releases tab, download the latest version, and start using it.
2. Explore the wallet: Wallet Settings -> Wallet X. Try things like creating/restoring accounts, managing tokens, and using Web3 ID features.
3. Share your feedback: Let us know what’s working well and where we can improve. You can add your feedback items here.
Your input will help us fine-tune the wallet before the full release.
