Sometimes I wonder, many people want to be rich and desire the outcomes of the wealthy. They admire the lifestyle, the cars, and everything that comes with it-like that song says, "The lifestyle costs, na you no know."

Yet, the courage to engage in the necessary actions, the determination, confidence, and commitment to achieve those results is where many fall short. I often say, your results are only as great as the limits of your courage.

Can you be relentless in pursuing your goals? Can you persevere through discouragement? Can you find the good in every setback and refuse to complain, continuing to chase your dreams? It's tough; many lose courage daily.

The key is to be your own greatest motivator. Everything around you may pressure you to give up, but can you stand tall, tell yourself, regardless of it all, l've got this, and keep pushing? The real secret is to continuously push the boundaries of your courage and keep failing forward.

To be rich is hard, and to be poor is hard, choose your hard! What separates the 1% is the ability to push beyond the limits of their courage to achieve what others would break trying to do. And often, it begins and ends in the minds of most people without even attempting! So, fail if you must-who cares? Try again and again.

And here's an important lesson: if you're working on something, give it your 100% focus-don't get caught up blowing motivational words everywhere. Don't get distracted. In the last 6months alone, l've turned down over 32 speaking invitations. Let everyone motivate themselves. Keep your focus and keep doing it afraid!

ON FRIENDSHIPS

That a man relies on his own reason and fortitude for his happeniess doesn't mean that he is to be alone, that he need not surround himself with companions and friends. In the same way as there exist in man a distaste for solitude and a craving for society, so too with this there is something inherent in it that stimulates is into seeking friendships. True friendship is to trust someone as you trust yourself.

This takes a bit of judgment, for while it is easy to find a friend in a time of prosperity, not so easy it is to find one the face of adversity. And let this guide your own actions as well, dear young person do not seek and maintain friendships for their utility, do not hold a friend because he is temporarily useful. Always remember that if you want a true friend then you must be one yourself. Only then can you surround yourself with kindred spirits and delight in their virtues. For instance the activity of one and the modesty of another and the liberality of a third and some other good quality of a fourth. Nothing delights so much as the examples of the virtues when they are exhibited in the morals of those who live with us.

Penned this down 3 years ago and it still resonates with my spirit. Thankful to God for the good friends & people I have in my corner.

I can't stop thinking about Elijah sitting underneath the juniper tree & asking God to die. God sent an angel who says, "This journey is too much for you. Rest & eat. Elijah does exactly that. He wakes up still feeling hopeless, & the angel repeats himself.

It took Elijah longer than he wanted to get better. Sometimes we want to move but we can't. Sometimes the journey is too much. It is not a sin to understand your limitations. Start there, get stronger, then get up.

Remember the secret to breakthrough life is securing the voice of God in the place of prayer. When you know that God has spoken clearly to you and given you directions and instructions to undertake, It is impossible to fail.
