I made a calculation of the estimated annual yield from renting anonymous numbers in @major. Here’s what I came up with:

— if a number is sent but not rented out, the yield is approximately 3%, or around 8% if you’re in the top 100 in app.
— if a number is rented out, the minimal yield is about 26%. For rarer numbers, it will be even higher.

So, even if your numbers are sitting idle, you can earn nice bonuses from @major.

Apparently, this calculation was done by someone independently, as several major players sent hundreds of numbers for rent yesterday. The terms might change for new numbers, so if you’re considering this, it’s better to act quickly 🚗
