Recently, there are more and more random people who would ask what to do if they have cancer or are sick. If you say that they can really heal... you will see the light in their eyes...but...when you continue to say... "BUT there is no panacea that works immediately, self-effort and self-awareness are necessary", the light in their eyes will begin to waver and some might “switch off”. Many times, it is our bad habits that lead to bad results. When you continue to observe people, you will find that many people really want to change, but like the wind of cause and effect, they will be blown to follow those habits that will harm their health, such as chemical foods, processed products, etc. 😂 Okay, okay...

I have a strong conviction that…

We want happiness, but we run away from causes of happiness.

We do not want to suffer, but tend to run towards causes of suffering.

Met a senior lady who came into our space of fermented foods and handmade ear candles among other customers. Then she asked if there is anything in my stall that could help her from her senses of nearly gone hearing and sight. 😔 She said she will come back again next week. After a good rest, started looking up into FDR about Hearing Loss and Cataract plus old notebooks on kidney k1 point channel on feet. If she does come back…(Though she can’t really hear me well, communication can still happen with visuals. The light in her eyes was warm and gentle on my heart.)

When I first landed in Sydney, I lived in Randwick. A few months later, I was introduced to the Blue Mountains & had a strong Love at first sight experience. There is something about this place. Then later on, I learned from a few healers that this ancient land holds several power spots with grids that run across center of Earth and can be intense when the “fuse box” blows out. Aboriginals would walk there for ceremonies and prayers but not live there. Having lived in Blue Mountains for 4 years, every return and visit is only immense gratitude, bliss & fondest memories. It’s a place I call truest home.

Though it’s called Blue Mountains, it is not bluey sad at all. To me, it is pure golden yellow.

Weather is mostly cold & windy throughout the year. It is probably also the cold that makes people resilient and resourceful. When we are too used to a certain type of living condition, that’s when the mind slips into autopilot mode and loses its elasticity for gratitude, spontaneity & creativity.

Finally gotten to it.
More than 2 years old biodynamics organic soy sauce made from homemade Tane Koji.
This second batch tastes sharper (longer time of fermentation) but less salty because I used lesser salt. The first batch was salty and lighter in taste. Next batch i will make sure to document the process of fermenting Tane koji from scratch. How long for next batch? I will do 6 months. My inkling is saying it might taste even lighter but could be good for people with softer taste buds (like myself).

Anyway, enjoy! It’s nice to go back and visit past photos and projects. No wonder journaling is such a wonderful habit. Now with digital journaling, it’s even better when shared.

Yes I do make my own tamari sauce from scratch including the koji as well. Three years passed and one aged batch coming up soon. Been so lazy to document with videos since being in the moment with the foods is like giving my undivided attention to them. Nonetheless I will try to record something next week.

Umeshu (plum wine) is one year done with sitting too. One thing good about fermenting foods is you play and collaborate a lot with nature and learn the fine art of allowing to be without attachments.

When kombucha scobies are loved, they prosper in size! Now people in my home drinks herbal kombucha and enjoy it. Been on it for almost 15 years now and brewing my own concoctions with herbs and fruits, making my own fermented drinks from kefir, yogurt, amazake etc is the most satisfying ever! Plus I do teach people these life skills. More info in the website or at stalls where I am physically there to explain and yak. I talk a lot more at stalls than in actual life. When I am out of the mode, I am usually very private and quiet who prefers to be undisturbed.

Getting some herbal tinctures in miron glasses along with organic vodka as well as another batch using blessed Gin given by DKR. Going to be a deeply blessed batch of limited edition herbal immune tinctures!

Namkhai Nyingpo Rinpoche is a reincarnated master of one of Guru Rinpoche’s twenty five disciples. It was of great fortune to be able to receive Guru Rinpoche empowerments last week from Rinpoche.

In December, there will be a Vajrakilaya Drupchen in Canberra from Dec 22-31. Drupchen means “great accomplishment” and according to Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche if there’s any drupchen happening, one must try to participate. It is believed that just going to one drupchen will take care of all samaya breakages instantly.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that attending a drubchen is as beneficial as practicing alone for seven years. I personally love Drupchens and have benefited greatly attending them when I was living in Nepal. Other benefits, which come as a by-product of attending a Drupchen, include securing a long life that is free from illness, peace on Earth, acquiring wealth, and getting good circumstances.

Yesterday a young boy came to BLISS at King’s Cross and asked if he could buy one of my origami Merkaba. Initially I wanted to gift it to him but later on, I decided to charge him a small nominal fee. He took out all the coins he had in his pocket and gave them to me ($4) and said please keep the change with deep appreciation and left the stall happily. I went back home thinking about him and wrote a new class with children and their adults in mind. 👇

King’s Cross Halloween Specials for both adults and kids. One parent said what a great way to get my kids to eat their fruits voluntarily! I am really happy too!

This market now has more and more new grill stalls and the smoke and smell makes me feel really uneasy.

Met a new customer who started sharing about how bad it was to get the jab and how difficult it is to find real healthy foods nowadays. Well, at BLISS, our customers are those who are sensitively aware of their own health needs to some extend I believe.

Another two months to the maturation of homemade plum wine (umesho). After this process, the plums will then be taken out for another pickling process with shiso leaves to become umeboshi。

Enjoyed for centuries as a superfood； said to improve metabolism, liver function, blood pressure, aids digestion and relaxation before sleep.
