Todays US PPI data points to easing inflationary pressures, with Core PPI flat at 0.0% (vs. 0.2% forecast) and headline PPI rising 0.2% (vs. 0.4% expected).

According to Bloomberg, After Bitcoin surpassed $100,000, some traders increased demand for put options to hedge against potential pullbacks. Amberdata shows a rise in open interest for put options with strike prices between $95,000 and $100,000, as well as increased demand for those in the $75,000 to $70,000 range. These positions are mainly concentrated in December and January expirations. Despite the increase in put options, their open interest remains lower than that of call options.
