Pastor Ansere surprised us by discussing the other side of righteousness: partnering with God and working for justice. He established that humans can participate in God's righteous acts through daily living and working, and investing in the church.

To understand righteousness, we must examine Matthew 6:33. Here, Jesus distinguishes between seeking food, clothing, and shelter like the gentiles and seeking God's Kingdom and His righteousness. Jesus therefore admonished Christians to seek after God's kingdom and righteousness.

We can do this by emulating God's creative work in Genesis 1, which entails seeking light (truth, wisdom, understanding, and knowledge), building infrastructures/platforms, creating systems and structures, to produce goods and services for society's betterment.
