➼ The ' 11th Bhopal Science Fair' will be organised  jointly by Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology and Vigyan Bharti from 27 to 30 December at Jambori Ground.

➼ Recently, Phase-44 census has started in Madhya Pradesh's Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve . In this, more than 1200 trap cameras have been installed at 640 places in 9 areas of the Tiger Reserve. After this census, the data will be collected and sent to the Wildlife Institute, Dehradun.

➼ Uttarakhand's tableau based on 'adventure sports' will be displayed on the path of duty in ' Republic Day Parade-2025' . Adventure sports like rock climbing, paragliding, bungee jumping, trekking will be displayed in this tableau.

➼ The profit of Indian banks has also increased for the sixth consecutive year in 2023-24. According to the report of the Reserve Bank of India, the financial position of Indian banks remains strong and this is also reflected in the steady increase in loans and deposits of banks.

➼ The country has produced the highest ever coal in 2023-24. Coal production in the year 2023-24 is 997.826 million tonnes as compared to 893.191 million tonnes in the year 2022-23 , which is about 11.71 percent more.
देश में 2023-24 में अब तक का सबसे अधिक कोयला उत्पादन हुआ है। वर्ष 2023-24 में कोयला उत्‍पादन वर्ष 2022-23 में 893.191 मिलियन टन की तुलना में 997.826 मिलियन टन हुआ है, जो कि लगभग 11.71 प्रतिशत अधिक है।


➼ The Indian Army contingent left for Nepal  on 29 December to participate in the 18th battalion level joint military exercise 'Exercise Surya Kiran' . This contingent consists of 334 soldiers. This exercise will be held in Saljhandi, Nepal from 31 December to 13 January 2025.
भारतीय सेना दल 29 दिसंबर को 18वें बटालियन स्‍तर के संयुक्‍त सैन्‍य ‘अभ्‍यास सूर्य किरण’ (Exercise Surya Kiran) में भाग लेने के लिए नेपाल रवाना हुआ है। इस दल में 334 सैनिक शामिल हैं। इस अभ्‍यास का आयोजन नेपाल के सलझंडी में 31 दिसंबर से 13 जनवरी 2025 तक होगा।

➼ The Railway Ministry will operate three thousand special trains for the Kumbh Mela Prayagraj 2025. Out of these, 560 trains will run on the ring rail route built in Prayagraj. The Maha Kumbh will be organized in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh from January 13 to February 26 .
रेल मंत्रालय प्रयागराज महाकुंभ मेला 2025 (Kumbh mela Prayagraj 2025) के लिए तीन हजार विशेष रेलगाडि़यों का संचालन करेगा। इनमें से 560 रेलगाडियां प्रयागराज में बनाए रिंग रेल मार्ग पर चलेंगी। महाकुंभ का आयोजन 13 जनवरी से 26 फरवरी तक उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रयागराज में होगा।

➼ The Central Board of Direct Taxes-CBDT has extended the deadline for 'Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme' from December 31, 2024 to January 31, 2025. This will give taxpayers additional time to determine the amount due as specified in the scheme.

➼ Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held the sixth pre-budget consultation meeting with experts and representatives of the health and education sector in the capital New Delhi on Monday, 30 December.

➼ With the aim of expanding security and bilateral relations, the 18th edition of the India-Nepal military exercise 'Suryakiran' has started on Tuesday, 31 December, at Saljhandi in Rupandehi. Let us tell you that the Shri Jung Battalion of the Nepali Army and the 11th Gorkha Rifles of the Indian Army will participate in the two-week long training. The 17th edition of the joint exercise was held in Pithoragarh, India last year.

➼ The National Cadet Corps-NCC Republic Day Camp-2025 began on Monday, December 30 with Sarva Dharma Puja at Cariappa Parade Ground in New Delhi. A total of 2,361 cadets from all 28 states and 8 union territories are participating in the month-long camp.

➼ The Indian Space Research Organisation-ISRO has successfully launched the Space Docking Experiment (SPADEX) mission on Monday, December 30. ISRO's PSLV-C60 rocket has been launched with two spacecraft from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota.

➼ Chess Grandmaster Ramesh Babu Vaishali has qualified for the knockout stage of the women's category of  the FIDE World Blitz Championship 2024. She is the only Indian player to cross the first hurdle of the competition in both the women's and open categories.

➼ Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra took over the Western Command of the Indian Air Force from Wednesday, January 1. He replaced Air Marshal Pankaj Sinha, who retired after over 39 years of service.

➼ In the month of December last year, the total Goods and Services Tax- GST collection increased by 7.3 percent as compared to the same period of the year 2023 and it has reached  Rs one lakh 77 thousand crore .

➼ Senior IPS officer of 1993 batch 'Vitul Kumar' has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF). He will replace IPS Anish Dayal Singh, who retired from the post of CRPF DG on December 31, 2024.

➼ The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has extended the ban on derivative trading in seven agricultural products, including wheat and moong, till January 2025 to rein in prices. The ban will also apply to non-basmati paddy, gram, crude palm oil, mustard seeds and their derivatives and soybean and its derivatives.

➼ The government has launched the 'Credit Guarantee Scheme for eNWR based Pledge Financing' . Under this scheme, farmers will now be able to get loans through their produce.

➼ According to the Education Ministry, the government will develop 620 ' Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas' under the ' PM Shri Yojana' , which aims to strengthen the infrastructure and other facilities in existing schools.

➼ The grand finale of the 7th edition of Smart India Hackathon was held on 12 December at the National Institute of Technology-NIT Srinagar. NIT Srinagar, one of the 51 nodal centers across the country, hosted the grand finale for the first time.

➼ According to the data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, retail inflation in the country has decreased in the month of November this year. The retail inflation rate has come down from 6.2 percent in the previous month to 5.4 percent in November.

➼ Khelo India Winter Games-2025 will be held in two different phases in Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. While snow sports competitions like alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering and snowboarding will be held in Jammu and Kashmir from January 22 to 25.

➼ In order to manage overall food security and prevent hoarding, the Central Government has reduced the wheat storage limit for traders, wholesalers and retailers across all States and Union Territories . The wheat storage limit for traders and wholesalers has been reduced from 2,000 MT to 1,000 MT, while for retailers the limit has been reduced from 10 MT to 5 MT.

➼ Food Safety and Standards Authority of India -FSSAI has made it mandatory to display nutritional information about added sugar, salt and fat in bold and bold letters on the packets of packaged food items.

➼ The Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 06 December approved the ' Rithala-Narela-Nathupur (Kundli) Corridor' under the Phase-IV project of Delhi Metro . Let us tell you that this 26.463 km long corridor will strengthen the connectivity between Delhi and Haryana. The target has been set to complete this project in four years. A total of Rs 6,230 crore will be spent on this project.

➼ According to the report of the Union Ministry of Labor and Employment, as of December 1, more than 30.43 crore unorganized workers are registered on the e-shram portal of the Central Government.

The United Nations declared 10 December as Human Rights Day in 1950, the purpose of which is to make people around the world aware of the importance of human rights and to give the message of being vigilant towards its observance.

➼ The Government of India has appointed Revenue Secretary ' Sanjay Malhotra' as the next Governor of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Sanjay Malhotra is a 1990 batch Rajasthan cadre IAS officer. He studied engineering from IIT Kanpur and did his masters from Princeton University . Sanjay Malhotra will take charge as the new Governor of RBI on December 11, 2024. His tenure will be for the next 3 years. He will be the 26th Governor of the Reserve Bank of India.

➼ In the ' Common University Entrance Test' (CUET) to be conducted for admission to undergraduate courses from the year 2025, students will be allowed to take any subject other than the subjects studied in class 12. This exam will be conducted through computer in 63 subjects instead of 37.
वर्ष 2025 से स्‍नातक पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश के लिए आयोजित होने वाली ‘सामान्‍य विश्‍वविद्यालय प्रवेश परीक्षा’ (CUET) में छात्रों को कक्षा 12 में पढ़े गए विषयों के अलावा कोई भी विषय लेने की छूट होगी। यह परीक्षा कम्‍प्‍यूटर के माध्‍यम से 37 के बजाय 63 विषयों में आयोजित की जाएगी।

According to the Ministry of Science and Technology, scientists have identified DNA sequences within the monkeypox virus genome.

➼ Constitution Day is celebrated every year on 26 November in India . On this day in the year 1949, the Constitution of our country was finalized. It took two years, 11 months and 18 days to make our Constitution. After which the Constitution of the Republic of India was ready on 26 January 1949, but it was officially implemented on 26 January 1950. 
भारत में हर वर्ष 26 नवंबर को संविधान दिवस मनाया जाता है। वर्ष 1949 में इसी दिन हमारे देश के संविधान को अंतिम रूप दिया गया था। हमारे संविधान को बनाने में दो वर्ष, 11 माह और 18 दिन का समय लगा था। जिसके बाद भारत गणराज्य का संविधान 26 जनवरी 1949 को बनकर तैयार हो गया, लेकिन इसे आधिकारिक तौर पर 26 जनवरी 1950 को लागू किया गया था।

➼ India will host the 13th United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management- GGIM Asia-Pacific Plenary and Regional Conference from November 26. Let us tell you that along with 120 representatives from India, 90 international representatives from 30 countries will participate in this conference.

➼ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Odisha on a three-day visit on November 29. He will attend the ' All India Conference' of Directors General and Inspectors General of Police in Bhubaneswar . Odisha is hosting this event for the first time.

➼ The India Global Forum Middle East and Africa 2024 began in Dubai yesterday, November 25. The theme of the forum is 'Limitless Horizons' . It will be attended by over 200 speakers and 1,000 participants.

➼ Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated 227 Gender Resource Centres in 13 states on November 25, in the third phase of Nayi Chetna .

➼ The Union Cabinet has approved the continuation of its flagship initiative Atal Innovation Mission -AIM till March 31, 2028. A budget of Rs 2,750 crore has been allocated for this.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडल ने अपनी प्रमुख पहल अटल इनोवेशन मिशन-AIM को 31 मार्च, 2028 तक जारी रखने की मंजूरी दी है। इसके लिए 2 हजार 750 करोड़ रुपये का बजट आवंटित किया गया है।

➼ Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi will launch the national campaign - 'Child marriage free India' in New Delhi on November 27. The primary goal of the campaign is to free the country from the evil practice of child marriage. Please note that the 'Child marriage free India' portal will also be launched  during the program .

➼ The Union Ministry of Tourism is organizing   the 12th International Tourism Mart at Kaziranga National Parkand Tiger Reserve , a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Assam, on November 27. The aim is to highlight the infinite tourism potential of the North Eastern region to domestic and international tourists.

➼ Recently India has signed the definitive act of   ' Riyadh Design Law Treaty' for intellectual property protection.

➼ India and the International Solar Alliancehave signed agreements for new solar projects in Fiji, Comoros, Madagascar and Seychelles. The Project Implementation Agreement was signed between the Ministry of External Affairs and the International Solar Alliance on November 26 in New Delhi.

➼ The Supreme Court has rejected a PIL seeking replacement of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) with ballot papers.

➼ The world's oldest man ' John Tinniswood'has died at the age of 112.
विश्व के सबसे बुजुर्ग व्यक्ति ‘जॉन टिनिसवुड’ (John Tinniswood) का 112 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया है।

➼ The Central government has approved over Rs 1,115 crore for  ' Disaster Mitigation and Capacity Building Projects' for 15 states.
केंद्र सरकार ने 15 राज्यों के लिए ‘आपदा शमन और क्षमता निर्माण परियोजनाओं’ के लिए 1,115 करोड़ से अधिक रुपये की मंजूरी दी है। 

➼ Recently in Mumbai, ' Eknath Shinde' has resigned from the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Governor CP Radhakrishnan has appointed Eknath Shinde as the acting Chief Minister. 
हाल ही में मुंबई में ‘एकनाथ शिंदे’ ने महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री पद से इस्तीफा दिया है। राज्यपाल सी पी राधाकृष्णन ने एकनाथ शिंदे को कार्यवाहक मुख्यमंत्री नियुक्त किया है।
