"The woman without a man is suffering and the man without a woman is suffering. As for when two suitable spouses join together, this is from the complete blessings (of Allah upon them both)."

"Loving knowledge and seeking it is the foundation of every obedience. Loving the Dunya, wealth and seeking after it is the foundation of every evil."

Shaykh Sālih Al-Fawzān حفظه الله said:

The means to happiness is that a person possesses these four qualities:

1. Knowledge

2. Actions

3. Calling to Allāh

4. Patience upon the harm incurred in the path of Allāh.

Gatherings Of The Righteous

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

Gatherings of the righteous transfers six to six:

1 - From doubt to certainty
‌‏
2 - From Riyaa [showing off] to Ikhlaas

3 - From negligence to remembrance
‌‏
4 - From desiring the Duniyaa [worldly life] to desiring the Hereafter
‌‏
5 - From pride to humility
‌‏
6 - From a bad intention to giving advise.

Shabīb ibn Shaybah رحمه الله said:

“Seek knowledge regarding mannerisms, for it helps achieve nobility, it increases the intellect, it is a companion in times of solitude, and an adornment in gatherings.”

[Bahjat al-Majālis: 1/19]

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"The key to the life of the hearts is in pondering over the Quran, calling upon Allah before dawn and in abandoning sins"

Imām Malik رحمه الله said:

“I have been informed that Luqmān said to his son,

‘O my son, the first thing you should acquire from this world, after a righteous friend, is a righteous wife.”

Ibn Kathir رحمه الله said:

‎“There is no greater friendship between two souls than that between a married couple.”

Ibn Al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:

"Allaah loves from His slave that he beautifies his tongue with the truth, and his heart with Ikhlaas and love, turning repentantly and reliance upon Allaah."

[Al-Fawaid, (No. 327)]

‎Abū Ḥasan at-Tirmidhī said:

“Knowledge is dead, so make it alive by seeking it. Then when you have made it alive by seeking it, it is weak; its strength is in learning. So when you make it strong by learning, it is hidden; so make it known by teaching it. Then when it is known, it is useless; so make it fruitful by implementing it.”
