The Indian Army conducted an integrated fire and manoeuvre training EXERCISE SWAVLAMBAN SHAKTI, from 17-22 October 2024, at the Babina Field Firing Ranges BFFR. Aligned with the Government's initiative of Atmanirbhar Bharat, the exercise focused on testing New Technology Equipment (NTEs) from indigenous manufacturers.
This manoeuvre and live-fire exercise tested over 50 cutting-edge technologies from more than 40 industry partners under battlefield conditions.
Lieutenant General Dhiraj Seth, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Command attended the exercise's culmination and appreciated the efforts of the Indian Defence Industry to provide indigenous technological solutions to for the Indian Army.
