The first female freedom fighters of India defeated Portuguese for 4 Decades.

The only woman in history to confront, fight & repeatedly defeat Portuguese.

The fiercely independent princess Abbakka (16th C.E. Chowtha Dynasty) trained in sword fighting, archery, cavalry, military strategy, diplomacy & all other statecrafts from a young age, when crowned as the Queen of Ullal, she was deeply aware of the threat by Portuguese on the coast.

These real stories should be included in our school syllabus.

The Second-longest continuous wall on the Planet that protects people, known as “The Great Wall of India”, surrounds the fort of Kumbhalgarh, stretches over a distance of 38km, 15m wide which is enough for 8 horses to walk abreast.

Built-in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha.

KUMBHALGARH FORT : Birthplace of Mewar’s legendary king Maharana Pratap.
Located on the westerly range of Aravalli Hills, in the Rajsamand district near Udaipur, Rajasthan.

A glimpse of magnificent cavalry carved on the pillars in Sri ranganathswamy temple, srirangam.
Look at the cavalry, look at the reigns, zoom it and sense the time of our ancestors.

The shrine consists of seven concentric prakaras formed by thick and huge rampart walls. There are 21 magnificent gopurams in the prakaras.

The Apatani are a tribal group living in Ziro Valley, Arunachal Pradesh. This tribe speaks the languages Apatani, English & Hindi. The unique thing about this community is that their agriculture system doesn't use any animal or machine.

UNESCO has proposed the Apatani Valley for inclusion as a World Heritage Site for its 'high productivity' way of preserving ecology which has made Ziro Valley a good example of a living cultural landscape where man & environment have harmoniously existed for centuries.
