➼ Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu on October 18 unveiled the 'Aviation Park' in the ministry premises. The park presents a picturesque view of models of aircraft.
नागरिक उड्डयन मंत्री किंजरापु राम मोहन नायडू ने 18 अक्टूबर को मंत्रालय परिसर में ‘एविएशन पार्क’ का अनावरण किया है। इस पार्क में विमानों के मॉडल का एक सुरम्‍य दृश्‍य प्रस्‍तुत है।

➼ The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has released a consultation paper on regulatory framework for broadcasters.

➼ The Central Government has extended the last date for the ' National Scholarship Portal' for meritorious students for the year 2024-25 till 31st October.

➼ According to a report by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), around 41.7 million people in Bangladesh are living in extreme poverty and six and a half percent of them are in a miserable condition.
संयुक्‍त राष्‍ट्र विकास कार्यक्रम(UNDP) की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार बांग्‍लादेश में लगभग चार करोड़ 17 लाख लोग बेहद गरीबी में जी रहे हैं और इनमें से साढे छह प्रतिशत लोग बदहाल स्थिति में हैं।

➼ The Central Board of Direct Taxes has amended the Income Tax rules for salaried employees. These are aimed at simplifying the process of tax collection at source and credit claim for taxes deducted.

➼ Australia defeated India by 9 runs in the Group A match of the Women's T20 Cricket World Cup and confirmed its place in the semi-finals.
