Information about a planned intranet outage happening this weekend.

• When: Saturday, after 5:00 PM, until Sunday morning.
• What's affected: Internet access within the university, university websites, and online services from outside the campus.
• What's working: Email services will remain available throughout the outage.

Why? We're upgrading the city's ATS, and it requires a temporary shutdown.

We would like to inform you about a scheduled internet outage this Saturday,  after 5:00 PM, till Sunday morning. During this time, access to the internet within the university, as well as to university websites and online services from outside the campus, will be unavailable. QM In-class test mock test

• Section A: This section consists of five true/false questions. Each correct answer is worth 2 marks, with a total of 10 marks available. This section will test your ability to critically evaluate statements and determine their validity based on the material covered.

• Section B: You will be asked to answer five definition-based questions. Each definition should be written in your own words, demonstrating your understanding of key concepts. Each correct definition will earn 4 marks, for a total of 20 marks in this section.

• Section C: This section contains five multiple-choice questions, each worth 4 marks, with a total of 20 marks. These questions will assess your ability to recognize and select the correct answers from a set of options, further reinforcing your grasp of the material.
• Section D: The final section will involve problem-solving questions. You will be presented with 3 to 5 questions, collectively worth 50 marks.

Dear  CIFS Students and Course Representatives,
 
I hope that your first year at WIUT is progressing well. 

As you are now collecting feedback on the enrolled core modules and other departments at the University, this email will give you information on the first Course Committee Meeting (CCM).
 
CCM will take place next Friday (25 October 2023) in  ShB 101  (Student Area on the First Floor) at 5 pm. It is a great chance to share your feedback with the corresponding module leaders and representatives of affiliated departments. 
 
Attendance for the Course Representatives is mandatory. All other CIFS students are welcome.
 
Module Leaders, representatives of other departments and I will be waiting for most of you there!
