*New Update on Portal*

This is to inform you that practical courses, which were previously only registered as courses, are now also registered for exams.

If you’ve already registered for these courses, kindly check your portal. The management has automatically registered you for the exams of those practical courses.

This means that these courses are now "EXAMINABLE." You will be required to do the practicals and also write an exam for them.

Please share this information with other studentsh

*E-learning Portal Update*

The issue with receiving the token/code has been resolved. If your school email is active, you will now receive the token needed to log into the e-learning portal.

For new users, please check your school email for the default password generated by the management, as your matric number is no longer the default password. Upon logging in with this default password, you will be prompted to change it to the password of your choice.

*On OTP/CODE receipt in email for eLearning Portal*

We are aware that many students are experiencing difficulties receiving the OTP via their school email to access the eLearning portal.

Please note that this issue stems from the portal itself, not your email, so there’s no need to worry. The management is working on resolving it, and we will keep you updated once it's fully operational.

Currently, only students who have linked the Google Authenticator app with the eLearning portal can access it without any issues.

Additionally, please be informed that there will be an orientation for Online Facilitation on October 5th, 2024, at 10 a.m.

Please log in via the eLearn portal https://elearn.nou.edu.ng/ and check if your courses have been uploaded. If they have not been uploaded yet, just keep checking and stay calm.

*For new students*, please try to log in and confirm your registration. Be sure you have registered for at least the past three weeks.

*How to Log In to eLearn*

*Follow these steps to log in to the eLearn platform:*
1. Visit the eLearn Portal: https://elearn.nou.edu.ng/
2. Click the "Log in" button.
3. Enter your matriculation number as your username.
4. Enter your password.

*Note for New Users:* Use your matriculation number as both your username and password (ensure that "nou" is in lowercase).

*Verification Process:*
You will need to enter a verification code for confirmation.
The code will be sent to your student email, or you can retrieve it from your authenticator app.

Make sure you get your matric number.

Try and make payment for your school fees and do all necessary registration

Have access to your school mail

Note new students might not have access to the e-learn site yet because they are not migrated yet, you dont have access to it until you have completed your registration and some days have passed.

The student portal is now fully functional, enabling you to proceed with your admissions and other essential registrations, including course and exam registration.

However, please note that the e-courseware for accessing course materials is still unavailable at the moment.
