The board is expected to release the CBSE Result 2024 after May 20, as per an announcement on its official website, cbseresults.nic.in. The statement indicates that results for both Class 10th and 12th will be announced simultaneously.
Approximately 39 lakh students who appeared for the CBSE 10th and 12th board exams are eagerly awaiting their outcomes.
Once announced, CBSE Class 10th and Class 12th results can be accessed on various platforms, including the board's official websites -- cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, and cbse.gov.in.
To access their CBSE Class 10 result 2024 via SMS, students should compose a text message with the format "CBSE10" and send it to 7738299899. Similarly, for CBSE Class 12 result 2024, they should send an SMS in the format "CBSE12 (roll number) (date of birth in DDMMYYYY format) (school number) (Centre number)" to the same number. Shortly after sending the SMS, students will receive all the necessary information regarding their results. However, it's essential to note that SMS charges may vary depending on the mobile network provider.
The CBSE Class 10th examinations took place between February 15 and March 13, 2024, while the Class 12th exams were held from February 15 to April 2, 2024. Both exams were conducted in a single shift, running from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm.
To pass the Class 10 and 12 exams, students need to achieve a minimum of 33 percent marks.

The board has already shared the PIN with the schools and advised all schools to ask the students to activate the DigiLocker account. Parents are advised to help students activate their DigiLocker account as the CBSE 10th 12th marksheet will be released on the same.

CBSE Results 2024 for 10th and 12th are expected to be released today. Once released, students will be able to check results via official websites cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, UMANG app and also via DigiLocker. CBSE had issued a notice on May 4 suggesting schools to distribute the DigiLocker access pin. Students are advised to be in touch with respective schools for the PIN which is required while downloading results from DigiLocker.
