🇮🇹University of Pisa merit scholarship!

University of Pisa allocates 17 Merit scholarships (one for each degree programme held in English).

Scholarship contains:

--- 6.5k euros gross and full exemption from tuition fees for the first year. It doesn't contain regional fee of 140 euros revenue stamp of 16 euros. In addition, you can apply for DSU scholarship.

--- 8k euros gross and 50% reduction in tuition fee for the second year if a student has at least 36 credits.

--- 8k euros gross and 50% reduction in tuition fee for the third year if a student has reached at least 96 credits by by a certain deadline.

Evaluation:

--- Evaluation of Curriculum Vitae(CV)
--- Result of interview.
--- CGPA(Cumulative Grade Point Average)

Write about yourself. We want to learn about you. Share a real story that gives us one slice of your life, rather than trying to summarize your life in 650 words.

Keep the focus on you. It shouldn’t be a story you observed, but a story in which you played a central or pivotal role. Write about something meaningful and include specific details and examples to support your ideas.

Use your own voice and language. We can tell the difference between the voice of a 40-year-old and a high school senior. We want to hear your voice, so be you – your strongest, clearest, most grammatically correct you — but you.

Proofread. Although we want substance, we also want to be able to see that you can write a paper for our professors and avoid careless mistakes that would drive them crazy. Check for clarity and be on the lookout for spelling and grammar mistakes (don't rely only on spell check). It's always a good idea to have a friend or teacher read your final draft too.

Colleges with rolling admissions evaluate applications as they are received instead of waiting to evaluate all applications after a hard deadline.

Schools will continue to evaluate applications until they've filled all the slots for their incoming class.

Unlike early action and early decision, rolling admission isn’t an option you choose. It’s the way certain colleges run their admission process.

EA - Early Action.

It is an option that allows applicants to apply many universities earlier and getting the results sooner. It gives a chance to compare scholarships they get and to commit one of them at the end.


ED - Early Desicion.

It is also early application option. However, it is binding which means you make contract with university to study there if you get into with early desicion.


REA - Restrictive Early Action.

It is early action that allows a student to apply only one university with this option and you agree that you don't apply any other university with early action or another restrictive early action.


ED2 - Early Desicion 2.

It is a chance to apply earlier for those who missed Early Desicion deadline, but wants a second chance to apply earlier and It is also binding.


RD - Regular Desicion.

It is a standard and non-binding application route with a later deadline. In regular desicion, the acceptance rate of universities are lower compared to other application routes.
