In Singapore, #Children's Day🥳 is celebrated on the first Friday of October every year. But how can we make this joyful occasion even more meaningful?

Tzu Chi Great Love #Preschool has always strived to create enriching experiences for the children, and this year was no exception. All three preschool branches organised unique activities for the day. At the Yishun branch, the K1 class, accompanied by their parents and teachers, visited the Ground-Up Initiative (GUI), immersing themselves in nature and learning about sustainability.

Meanwhile, other students enjoyed a range of engaging activities that emphasised environmental protection and community service, ensuring a fun-filled and educational Children’s Day for the children.

Growing up with a vegetarian father, Ai Lin and Ee Ren were more than familiar with Singapore’s vegetarian F&B landscape. Even as kids, it was clear to them that the options were limited.

Whether that be a hawker centre or coffee shop, it wasn’t easy for them to find a place to dine at. So when the siblings wanted to start a business together as adults, they decided to address this problem with Saute Group.

Since its 2023 edition of Flag Day, Tzu Chi Singapore has enabled donors to use fund transfer services such as PayNow and PayLah to make donations. In 2024, we partnered full-suite payments platform 2C2P to introduce a new digital donation method that allows donors to donate by tapping their credit cards or using their digital wallets. This method utilises 2C2P’s new soft Point-of-Sale (softPOS).But even with the introduction of tech, our volunteers still seized every opportunity to greet passers-by with warm smiles and passionately
