Big Breaking #Sebi 🚨

SEBI raises the minimum trading amount for derivatives from 500,000 rupees to 1.5 million rupees.

SEBI limits derivatives contract expiries to one per exchange per week.

SEBI's new rules for derivatives trading will take effect on November 20.

SEBI instructs exchanges to monitor intraday position limits for equity index derivatives.

Starting February 2025, SEBI will enforce upfront collection of options premiums and increased margins.

SEBI requires an additional 2% margin for short options contracts on the day they expire.

• The Power Ministry is committed to implementing market coupling of power exchanges

• Ministry asks Grid Controller of India to complete the pilot study on time

• The Grid Controller of India is conducting a pilot study

on market coupling under the direction of CERC

• Various technical aspects are being examined through the pilot study

• Grid India is expected to submit its report to CERC within the next month
