In the footage, Canadian Skier Nigel Beaupre and a fellow snowboarder, Jordan O’Connell, jump off a ridge.

Beaupre lands safely, but after attempting the same jump, O’Connell is buried under a snowbank after landing. Beaupre quickly goes to dig his friend out.

Landslide on the Cianross Slope 2006, Kronplatz in South Tyrol 😳

In April 2006, a massive landslide occurred at Kronplatz in South Tyrol. Around 50,000 cubic meters of earth and debris slid down the slope, taking the mountain station of the Cianross cable car with it. Thanks to the quick response, greater damage and injuries were avoided.
