I did a review of my 2023 & realized I missed a lot on this.

I wasn't intentional in putting myself out.
I wasn't intentional in my time management.
I wasn't intentional in showing the solution I offer.
I wasn't intentional in selling my brand shamelessly.

But still, I got amazing testimonies that humbled me in 2023.

→ Participants of my LinkedIn challenge getting gig$.
→ Client's revamped profiles getting 3-5x more results.
→ Clients securing deals worth multi-million dollars.
→ Clients getting top voice badges on LinkedIn.

So much can happen for you in 2024 if you become INTENTIONAL.

Is taking breaks bad for your Brand?

I did for the past 3 weeks. Here's what I found.

The downside:
↳Your creator profile ranking drops
↳Your sales and/or marketing results drops
↳Your numbers: impressions, likes, follows drops

If numbers are your thing. I won't recommend it.
I'd suggest you hire an expert to manage your profile.

The Upside:
↳Enough time to yourself (good for your mental health).
↳Enough time to do important work offline
↳Enough time to redefine your goals

Being away for these past weeks has been productive:

1. I've handled client projects.
2. I've had client meetings online + offline.
3. I closed a new retainer deal for my brand ($$$).
4. I'm working on a course that'll teach you 1-3 (ANTICIPATE!).

So yes my numbers dropped on LinkedIn.
↳But it grew in portfolio & revenue ($$$)

It's important you know what success looks like FOR YOU.
Else you'd find yourself competing for numbers that mean nothing to you.

Know your magic number ➞ Focus on growing it.

2 days ago I was at a Networking event with top experts in the oil and gas industry. I mean, these men were always talking figures like "$1million dollars, $150m, billion"

I was there with my boss. The same one I got connected with on LinkedIn. I even got an offer from a lady who asked me to research on any openings in their multinational company & tell her which I'm interested in.

Like.. that's a blank cheque! But how did I get there?

I chose to build my brand on social media, LinkedIn especially. I didn't only get a job I wasn't looking for, I got a network I didn't qualify for.

Social media is a leveler. While people are getting worse & pooper because of it; a few are getting richer, flying around the world because of it.

You chose. You decide. But just know fraud won't take you anywhere (physically or spiritually). Believe me or not but I'm not here to argue, all I'll say is "we'll see".

Just this evening, I finished off a call with a lady from Germany. Apparently, she's been finding a way to reach me but I've just been too busy & unavailable.

I've presented my offer and I'll send her an invoice later. What service am I been sought for? Social media -- LinkedIn precisely.

What I'll be doing for her is a subject I've been working on lately. Infact it's a separate module in my social media management course that I've been working on lately.

There was a time I was the one looking for jobs. Praying & begging for opportunities. Sending job applications that never got a response.

Today, I'm getting job opportunities without even applying or dropping a CV anywhere. That's the power of building a personal brand on social media.
