The RCs of NUS are proud to announce the return of Inter-RC Halloween this year!πŸ₯³Residential Colleges Horror Night (RCHN) 2024 will be taking place on Tuesday, 29th October from 1830 to 2300. This year’s theme is Nightmare BoulevardπŸͺ¦πŸŒƒ, and each RC will be hosting a Haunted House πŸ‘» based on a location in the city gone wrong😱

You can go around visiting all 5 Haunted Houses, all for free! πŸ₯³ Don’t miss out, get that costume ready πŸ§™β€β™€οΈ and save the date now for a spooktacular 🫣 evening! Afraid of having to face long queues🚢? Not to worry, we've got you covered❕A queue system will be implemented where queue numbers will be issued to you by the respective RCs🀩

[Bump: RC4’s Fun & Food Day - Call for Volunteers]

Hello RC4! Ever wanted the opportunity to build meaningful relationships across generations? Now is your chance!

What is Fun & Food Day (FF Day)?
FF Day is an intergenerational activity in collaboration with Queenstown Secondary School (QTSS) and Active Ageing Centers in the Health District at Queenstown (HD@QT), bringing together people from 3 generations for a fun day of activities, that are co-created together. Participants can come up with any game (Fun) they would like to play, and eat (Food) together anywhere in the Queenstown district.

we are looking for student volunteers who:
- are available on 2 Nov to participate (NOW ONE DAY ONLY!)
- willing to facilitate conversations, and actively take charge of co-creation
- open-minded individuals, who are willing to lend a listening ear!

β€’ Dr. Lynette Tan,,Director of External Programs of Residential College 4, and Ms. Martha H. Soetedjo, third year NUS Data Science & Economics Student & RC4 Alumnus, will discuss how new Systems Thinking courses engage students in addressing the challenges of Singapore's aging society and fostering intergenerational connections.

β€’ Dr. Toh Tai Chong, National University of Singapore, will present his work in community-based marine conservation in Timor Leste, demonstrating the importance of engagement and systems thinking in conservation efforts.

β€’ Mr. Daniel Lee, NUS & RC4 Alumnus, will talk about how participatory Systems Thinking through Group Model Building (GMB) helped RC4 students model stress management and led to the co-creation of student wellness initiatives within the college.
