Ibn Hajar said:
"A believer should not undervalue even a small good deed that comes his way, nor should he think lightly of a minor sin he commits, assuming it to be insignificant while it is great in the sight of Allah. For the believer does not know which good deed will bring Allah’s mercy or which sin will incur His wrath."

والشيطان يريد ‌من ‌الإنسان ‌الإسراف ‌في ‌أموره ‌كلها؛

• فإنه إن رآه مائلاً إلى الرحمة زيّن له الرحمة حتى لا يُبغض ما أبغضه الله، ولا يغار لما يغار الله منه.

• وإن رآه مائلاً إلى الشدة زيّن له الشدة في غير ذات الله، حتى يترك من الإحسان والبر ..ما يأمر به الله ورسوله.

فالمؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر يفعل ما يحبه الله ورسوله وينهى عما يبغضه الله ورسوله.
ومن لم يؤمن بالله واليوم الآخر فإنه يتبع هواه، فتارة تغلب عليه الرأفة، وتارة تغلب عليه الشدة.

Shaytan pushes people to extremes in all their matters:

• If they lean toward mercy, he makes them overly merciful until they no longer hate what Allah hates.

• If they lean toward harshness, he pushes them to abandon the kindness and goodness which Allah commands..

A believer does what Allah and His Messenger love and avoids what they dislike. But those who don't believe follow their desires, sometimes mercy overtakes them other times harshness without guidance from Allah

كم بيننا وبين نزول القرآن؟ أربعة عشر قرنًا، ونحن في الخامس عشر، ومع ذلك يقول الله عز وجل: إن الساعة قريب. من هنا نعرف أن عمر الدنيا طويل وبعيد. ولكن هل نأخذ بقول هؤلاء الذين يتخرصون ويقولون: عمر الدنيا الماضي كذا وكذا؟ لا، هؤلاء لا نصدقهم ولا نكذبهم. أحيانًا يقولون: إنهم عثروا على آثار حيوان له كذا وكذا من ملايين السنين،لا نصدقهم ولا نكذبهم. لأنهم لا يعلمون الغيب الماضي، وإنما يقيسونه بحال الحاضر.

How long has it been since the Qur’an was revealed? 14, and we are in the 15th. Yet, Allah the Almighty says that the Hour is near. From this, we understand that the lifespan of this world is long. But should we believe those who speculate and say that the age of the world is such and such? No, we neither believe nor disbelieve them. Sometimes they say they have discovered the remains of an animal that existed millions of years ago, .. We neither confirm nor deny this because they do not know the unseen past; they only estimate it based on the present.

🟡قال سفيان بن عيينة : لا تتركوا الدعاء، ولا يمنعكم منه ما تعلمون من أنفسكم، فقد استجاب الله لإبليس وهو شر الخلق، قال: ﴿قَالَ أَنْظِرْنِي إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ * قَالَ إِنَّكَ مِنَ الْمُنْظَرِينَ﴾


🟡Sufyan ibn 'Uyaynah said: "Do not give up on supplication, and do not let what you know of yourself prevent you from it. Allah answered Iblis, the worst of creation, when he said: "Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (14) (Allah) said: "You are of those allowed respite."

🟡وعن يحيى بن معاذ الرازي قال : كيف أمتنع بالذنب من الدعاء، ولا أراك تمتنع بالذنب من العطاء.

🟡Yahya ibn Mu'adh al-Razi said: "(O Allah) How can I refrain from supplication because of sins, when I do not see You refrain from gifting because of (our) sins?"

⌛️متى تبدأ الساعة الأولى من يوم الجمعة؟

"الساعات التي ذكرها الرسول  ﷺ  خمس (من راح في الساعة الأولى فكأنما قرب بدنة...)، فقُسّم الزمن من طلوع الشمس إلى مجيء الإمام إلى خمسة أقسام، وقد يكون كل قسم بمقدار الساعة المعروفة، أو قد تكون الساعة أقل أو أكثر، لأن الوقت يتغير. فالساعات خمس ما بين طلوع الشمس ومجيء الإمام للصلاة، وتبتدئ من طلوع الشمس، وقيل: من طلوع الفجر، والأول أرجح."

⏳"When does the first hour of Friday begin?"

The hours mentioned by the Prophet  ﷺ  are five.  (Whoever goes in the first hour, it is as if he has offered a camel...) So the time from sunrise until the Imam arrives is divided into five parts. Each part may be the length of the known hour or less or more, depending on the time. The five hours are between sunrise and the Imam’s arrival for prayer, and they begin at sunrise.

ذلك خبر من الله أنه أملك لقلوب عباده منهم، وأنه يحول بينهم وبينها إذا شاء، حتى لا يقدر ذو قلب أن يُدرك به شيئا من إيمان أو كفر، أو أن يَعي به شيئا، أو أن يفهم، إلا بإذنه ومشيئته. وذلك أن "الحول بين الشيء والشيء"، إنما هو الحجز بينهما، وإذا حجز جل ثناؤه بين عبد وقلبه في شيء أن يدركه أو يفهمه، لم يكن للعبد إلى إدراك ما قد منع الله قلبَه إدراكَه سبيلٌ.


"This is a statement from Allah, that He has more control over the hearts of His servants than they do themselves. He can turn their hearts away from faith or disbelief, preventing anyone from comprehending anything through their heart—whether faith or disbelief—except by His permission and will. The term 'coming between smth and smth' refers to placing a barrier in between. So if Allah, exalted be He, places a barrier between a person and their heart, preventing them from reaching or comprehending something, there is no way for that person to reach what Allah has barred their heart from."

"النفوس مولعة بقضاء حوائجها وإزالة ضروراتها وتسمع بأن قبر فلان ترياق مجرب والشيطان له تلطف في الدعوة فيدعوهم أولا إلى الدعاء عنده فيدعو العبد عنده بحرقة وانكسار وذلة فيجيب الله دعوته لما قام بقلبه لا لأجل القبر فإنه لو دعاه كذلك في الحانة والخمارة والحمام والسوق أجابه فيظن الجاهل أن للقبر تأثيرا في إجابة تلك الدعوة والله سبحانه يجيب دعوة المضطر ولو كان كافرا

"Souls are inclined to fulfill their needs and alleviate their hardships They hear that so and so’s grave is a proven remedy and Shaytan has subtle ways he firstly invites them to pray there. A person prays at it with fervor humility and submission and Allah answers their prayer due to their heart state not because of the grave If they pray with the same heart state in a tavern, wineshop, bathhouse, or market Allah would answer them The ignorant one thinks the grave had an effect on the answer while Allah answers the distressed even if they are a disbeliever"

💠قال ابن القيم:

للصدقة فيه (يوم الجمعة) مزية عليها في سائر الأيام، والصدقة فيه بالنسبة إلى سائر أيام الأسبوع كالصدقة في شهر رمضان بالنسبة إلى سائر

وشاهدت شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية إذا خرج إلى الجمعة يأخذ ما وجد في البيت من خبز أو غيره فيتصدق به في طريقه سرا، وسمعته يقول: إذا كان الله قد أمرنا بالصدقة بين يدي مناجاة رسول الله ﷺ، فالصدقة بين يدي مناجاته تعالى أفضل وأولى بالفضيلة.

💠Ibn al-Qayyim, said:

"Giving charity on Friday has a special merit compared to other days, just as giving charity during the month of Ramadan has a higher merit compared to the rest of the year.

I witnessed Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah when he would go out for Jumuaah, he would take whatever he found at home -be it bread or anything else- and give it as charity in secret on his way. I heard him say: 'If Allah commanded us to give charity before conversing with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, then giving charity before conversing with Allah is even more virtuous and deserving of merit.

قالَ لا بل والله في الدُّنْيا.. أن يري الله العبد من زَوجته من أخيه من حميمه طاعَة الله، لا والله ما شَيْء أحب إلى المَرْء المُسلم من أن يرى ولدا أو والدا أو حميما أو أخا مُطيعًا لله

It was said to Al-Hasan: What is this delight of the eyes? Is it in this world or in the Hereafter?
He replied, No, by Allah, it is indeed in this world, it is for a servant to see from his wife, his brother, or his close friend obedience to Allah. By Allah, nothing is more beloved to a Muslim than to see a child, parent, close friend, or sibling obedient to Allah

فإنها جامعة للكمال في الدين واستقامة الأحوال في الحياة؛ إذ لا تقر عيون المؤمنين إلا بأزواج وأبناء مؤمنين

It encompasses the completeness of religion and the correctness of one’s state in life; indeed, the eyes of the believers do not find contentment except with righteous spouses and children.

🪷 قال النووي: إذا رغب في نكاحها استحب أن ينظر إليها لئلا يندم... فإن لم يتيسر النظر بعث امرأة تتأملها وتصفها له. والمرأة تنظر إلى الرجل إذا أرادت تزوجه فإنه يعجبها منه ما يعجبه منها .
ثم المنظور إليه الوجه والكفان ظهرا وبطنا ولا ينظر إلى غير ذلك

🪷 Al-Nawawi said: If a man desires to marry a woman it is recommended that he looks at her to avoid future regret... If he is unable to look at her, he may send a woman to observe her and describe her to him. A woman also should look at the man if she wishes to marry him, as she may be attracted to him the same way he is attracted to her.

The parts that he may look at are the face and the hands, both front and back, not any other parts.

🪷 Al-Zayla'i said: It is not permissible for him to touch her face or hands

أي أحدثوها بعد رسولهم، فإن البدعة ما كان محدثا بعد صاحب الشريعة.

This refers to innovations introduced after their messenger, as innovation is something introduced after the one who brought the Sharia.

📜Tafsir al-Tahrir wa al-Tanwir تفسير التحرير والتنوير


وفي هذا دليل على أن الإنسان إذا ابتدع بدعة فإنه لا يوفَّق لإقامتها، فيكون ضالًّا في الأصل وضالًّا في الفرع، حتى لو اجتهد، حتى لو خشع.
إنك تجد بعض الناس الذين ابتدعوا أذكارًا أو صلوات أو أدعية أو ما أشبه ذلك تجدهم خاشعين، قلوبهم باكية، قلوبهم خاشعة لكن لا ينفعهم ذلك؛ لأنهم على ضلال


This is evidence that if a person innovates in religion, they will not be granted success in practicing it. They remain misguided in both the origin and the practice, even if they show effort or devotion. You may find some people who innovate certain remembrances, prayers, or supplications and appear humble and tearful, but it will not benefit them because they are in error.
