Position Summary:
Are you an innovative engineer ready to make a difference? As an F5 Consultant, you’ll partner with clients to leverage F5 technology solutions, guiding them to meet their business objectives. You’ll play a vital role in fostering strong relationships and delivering effective solutions that drive success!
🌐 Primary Responsibilities:
Technology Focus:
- Provide technical guidance on implementing, configuring, and maintaining F5 products.
- Contribute to problem identification, system architecture, solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Stay proficient in F5 technologies through training and self-directed learning.
- Identify new product/service opportunities within customer organisations.
Customer Management Focus:
- Manage engagement activities, project status updates, and expectations.
- Interact with customers throughout project cycles, ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with various F5 teams, including Support, Sales, and Professional Services.
💡 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Proven experience working in teams and managing multiple projects.
- Strong understanding of firewalling, application availability, and network architecture.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Adaptable and self-motivated, thriving in dynamic environments.
🔧 Required Skills:
- Proficient in F5 ADC, firewalls, routing, switching, and multi-tier applications.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (Ethernet, IP, TCP, UDP).
- Familiarity with HTTP protocol, cryptographic concepts, and AAA technologies.
- Scripting experience in F5 iRules, Unix Shell, Python, and web technologies.
📚 Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience in network/systems architecture.
- At least 2 years in customer-facing roles preferred.
