Qatar Airways has partnered with SpaceX's Starlink to roll out high-speed internet across its fleet. This makes Qatar Airways the first airline in the Middle East and North Africa to offer this service.
The airline plans to equip its Boeing 777s by 2025 and its Airbus A350s by the summer of 2025. Passengers will be able to enjoy seamless connectivity, streaming, and gaming throughout their journey, completely free of charge.
“It’s going to get better. We launched new satellites and keep improving the software. Over time I think you’ll find it just gets better and better,” Musk said before Al Meer gave him a video tour of the cockpit.

Isiolo Governor Abdi Guyo has finally appeared before the Senate’s Finance and Budget Committee after multiple summons and fines.
Guyo faced significant backlash from the Senate after repeatedly failing to appear before various Senate committees.
Senate Speaker Amason Kingi even directed the Inspector General of Police to arrest Governor Guyo for his defiance.
However Guyo claimed he couldn't attend a summons on August 8, 2024, due to nationwide Gen-Z protests.

#KENYA: UASU ANNOUNCES A NEW 7-DAY STRIKE NOTICE
The Universities Academic Staff Union (UASU) has issued a new seven-day strike notice after disagreeing with the government on the implementation of the return-to-work formula.
Speaking during a press briefing that followed a National Executive Committee meeting, UASU Secretary-General Constantine Wasonga announced the strike, citing unresolved issues related to salaries and working conditions
Wesonga also stated that the strike notice had been activated immediately, warning that public universities could experience significant disruptions starting next month.
