We are delighted to bring to your notice that *Tula Organic Clothing has completed 10 years* and we are planning a small celebration on Oct 19th & 20th (Saturday & Sunday) at “*Spaces*”, Elliots Beach Road (near Thalappakatti), Besant Nagar, Chennai*. (10am-7pm)
As a highlight we are organising a very special and unique *Curated Demo of the Hand Spinning craft of Ponduru*.
Please come to witness the very rare and special LIVE demonstration by master women practitioners of the spinning craft of converting fiber to yarn (right from de-seeding to opening of cotton to combing with fish jaw bone to spinning the yarn by hand) from Ponduru, AP. *The Patnulu spinning is a rare and special art coming to Chennai for the first time*.
We will also have various live demos and hands on *workshops of Tula’s wholistic value chain* on both days : Ginning, Hand Spinning, Hand Weaving, Natural Dyeing, Block Printing & Mending! All by experts and artisans! All our value chain partners will be here for you to interact/learn/see.

Tüla Organic Clothing is a *not-for-profit* social enterprise (www.tula.org.in) that brings to you garments from _Indian(desi) cottons organically grown_ by smallholder, rainfed farmers, with the _yarn hand spun_ by skilled Khadi/Khaddar workers and colored with _natural dyes_ where required with expert guidance, the fabric woven on _handlooms by master weavers_ , the _garments stitched by women_ and men from economically and socially marginalised groups. When you wear a Tüla garment, you can be sure that it is the lightest garment possible, both in its environmental sense and its just/fair trade sense and that it has _touched more than 6 livelihoods_ .
