Production in Harmony with Nature

🌱 LUKOIL launched a 2 MW solar power plant in Kazakhstan.

The plant will supply green energy to the Company’s local lubricants production facility. 

LUKOIL puts a premium on energy efficiency and decreasing its carbon footprint. The Company actively constructs solar and wind power plants at its production sites, develops hydro power generation, and strives to minimize flaring.

On the Silk Road

⛽️ A flagship LUKOIL-branded fuel station opened in Kazakhstan at the motor route that connects China and Europe. 

The station is located on the way out of Almaty, the largest city in the country.


This is LUKOIL’s second franchise filling station in Kazakhstan.

The station offers its clients premium grade fuel, including ECTO 100 gasoline, and LUKOIL lubricants, as well as an opportunity to visit a café with a show kitchen and a shop with broad variety of products.

* This April, LUKOIL also opened two fuel stations in Uzbekistan.

🎶 Music of production

🏭 World opera stars Polina Shamaeva and Alexander Sukhanov accompanied by the Creative Community of Musicians ensemble at the Kandym Gas Processing Complex with the support of the LUKOIL Charity Fund.

The concert was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of LUKOIL's operations in Uzbekistan.

LUKOIL won international Sustainability Innovation Awards

The Company received the award for organizing safe drinking water supply for the people who live in Iraq, Mexico, Uzbekistan and Russia.

The implemented projects are:
🔴Drilling and cleaning of water wells;
🔴Construction and modernization of water purification facilities;
🔴Delivery of bottled water to orphanages and schools.

* For the third time, Sustainability Innovation Awards celebrates outstanding sustainable development achievements of organizations of various industries that operate in Persian Gulf states, Middle East and Africa.
