About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Outpatient Pharmacy Supervisor to join our team in a reputed hospital in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within an outpatient hospital pharmacy and a total of 5+ years of professional experience as an outpatient hospital pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the daily operations of the outpatient pharmacy to ensure efficient and accurate dispensing of medications.
Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
Lead and mentor a team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and medication management.
Manage inventory, stock levels, and ensure the availability of essential medications.
Ensure excellent customer service and address patient inquiries regarding prescriptions.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, providing guidance and development opportunities.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging best practices in outpatient pharmacy operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (PharmD or equivalent).
Valid UAE pharmacist license.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an outpatient hospital pharmacist, with at least 3 years in a supervisory position.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
In-depth knowledge of outpatient pharmacy operations, medication safety, and patient care protocols.
