Role Description

Qualifications:

Audit Reports and Auditing skills

IT Audit knowledge
Strong understanding of Finance and Analytical Skills

Ability to prepare and analyze financial statements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in auditing

Strong knowledge of auditing standards, risk assessment, and internal control frameworks.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

1cent advice to newly passed outs:
1. Wear a formal uniform for an interview. (If not -first interview question might be: “why are you not in uniform”?
2. Never ask for clients and stipend to Principals? Instead indirectly ask to fellow articles from outside.
3. Bank audits are not so attractive as expected. 6 month on a single client doing monotonous work is not appealing and banking careers are not preference anymore.
4. Firm with separate departments will decrease exposure.
5. Have a knowledge of ongoing things and outside world?
Questions such as:
a. “ Why should we hire you if only one article is to be hire you?”
b. What’s your take on current demands of CA students? Like exam gap, you passed it without gaps?
6. If there are vacancy for 6 person, half of them are occupied for recommendations. (Harsh reality). So focus on point 5(a) and present your self worthy.
7 Number of firms are more than article passed during an exam. So everyone will get a firm but it depends on you whether you will get what you want.
