Tashkent, Uzbekistan – October 16, 2024 – Mukhammadkhon Soliev, Director of the Innovative Centre in Samarkand, actively participated in the “Shaping the Future: Advancing Higher Education in Central Asia” forum. The event, attended by over 45 rectors and two key ministers from Uzbekistan—Hilola Umarova, Minister of Pre-School and School Education, and Kongiratbay Sharipov, Minister of Higher Education—focused on the evolving educational landscape in Central Asia.
Notable international leaders in attendance included Dr. Levente Kovács, Rector of Óbuda University (Hungary), Dr. Timothy O’Connor, President of the American University of Central Asia (Kyrgyzstan), Friederike Hettinger, Managing Director of TUM International (Germany), and Eric Grimson, Chancellor for Academic Advancement at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA). Soliev’s participation reinforced the Innovative Centre’s commitment to global partnerships and advancing educational excellence in the region.
